My husband and I came across Manor Inn by chance. It was about 11am and it seemed really quiet, not yet lunch time, so as expected. The staff were really lovely, even when I explained that my teenage daughters only like plain food. We booked for 8pm. I happened to mention it was our 22nd wedding anniversary. The place was... We ate here on two evenings when we recently stayed at the nearby Galmpton touring park in our motor home. It was close enough to walk to and seemed very popular. The food was good pub food and value for money.

Visited The Manor 4 times over Easter whilst staying with family in Galmpton. The Manor offers a great welcome, friendly staff, well kept beer and friendly locals. I recommend the Jail Ale. This is a proper pub, great for chatting with the locals over a few beers or having a meal. They also have occasional live music. There was an... More

Stayed for one night as we wanted to visit -National Trust properties nearby - Greenway formerly owned by Agatha Christie which is on the outskirts of Galmpton and also Coleton Fishacre formerly owned by the D'Oyly Carte family. Our room was compact but very clean with ensuite bathroom and had all we needed for our one night stay. The staff... More

Thank you for you kind review , The sound proofing with the room next is an issue we are trying to solve! There is a void between the two doors which we will be filling with insulation . I'm glad you injoyed the area and hope to see you again soon. Regards Giles Gray More

We found the Manor Inn a pleasure to stay in. The room was spotless as was the bedding and the shower room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and so was the hospitality. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed for one night in February on business. Room was clean and well furnished albeit the TV was not great and the en-suite a little cramped (siting the loo should have been given a little more thought). The pub part is tired and a little dated and in need of refurbishment but was a cosy place to be in front... More
