The room we stayed in, number 4 was stunning and incredibly comfortable, beautifully decorated and very tranquil. I would recommend this B&B for this and the quality of the beer and the breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful but pressed to cope with the sheer volume. We ate in the restaurant on both the nights we stayed and the... More

on arrival we were made to feel extremely welcome, when showed to our room we were over the moon, it had been newly refurbished to a very high standard with a great selection of toiletries and refreshments including a stocked mini fridge with drinks a great price, breakfast was also fantastic freshly cooked to order made with local produce, we... We'd seen The Manor Inn highly recommended on booking.com but no twin room was available for the night we wanted to stay. We went instead to the nearby Weary Ploughman Inn at Churston Ferrers and were wonderfully housed and catered for. The next day we had lunch at The Manor Inn and were extremely glad we hadn't stayed there. The... More

Stayed here for 5 days. Absolutely lovely. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. Our room wasn't big but clean and suited our needs. You do need to book a table for dinner as it gets very busy in the evening and as all the food is freshly prepared and cooked you might have to wait up to 40mins but... More

Staying 4 nights in Galmpton we visited The Manor Inn twice. Tuesday special a choice of curry and a drink for £10.00. Thursday special any two main courses from the menu with a bottle of wine for £25.00. Both meals were delicious, very well presented and served by friendly staff without a long wait. The restaurant and bar were busy... More

We went for a meal when staying in Paignton as was in the food guide. This has to be one of the worst meals we have ever had. Place needs a good clean. Tables sticky and need a good scrub. Would not recommend.

Went to eat a celebratory meal for finishing university with my parents. We rang and booked a table being Sunday presuming they were serving Sunday roast. On arrival the bar staff took about 10 minutes to show us our table, which had dirty placemats, and only one place set out of 3. We had to go to the bar to... More

Having stayed in October 2013 we returned April 2014 for three nights. We were very happy with our room, the staff are helpful (especially the lady who cooks breakfast) and friendly locals. The food is excellent, sometomes a wait but only because its properly prepared and cooked well. Recommend booking a table as it gets very busy, especially on stake... More

Usually fantastic food however we were squeezed in on a busy day and the portion size demonstrated this!! Service lovely & friendly but food very disappointing, won't be returning! Food tasty but not enough to fill a toddler and not cheap either.

We ate here three times last week, once for lunch and twice in the evening. On all three occasions our experience was the same - lovely food, well cooked, and very well presented by staff. Both evenings, the place was full, but service levels remained very high and attention to detail was excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and cordial and... More
