An excellent B&B in every respect except one. For a five star B&B I would have expected somewhere comfortable to sit other than on the bed. Other than that, just ideal. Friendly hosts, good breakfast lots of nice touches. Padstow is a nice town spoilt by an inability to park anywhere without having to fork out a fortune for parking,... More

My husband and I stayed at Callycroft with another couple at the end of October for 2 nights. From the moment we arrived to the second we left our experience of this smal,l but perfectly formed, B&B was fantastic. We are fairly new to B&Bs and unsure what to really expect but Callycroft was spotlessy clean, light and modern. We stayed... More

We stayed in the Oyster room (with the excellent separate lounge room) for two nights. The whole place was spotless and the decor was very nice. We wanted for nothing - bathrobes, slippers, smellies, selection of glasses, kettle, iron and ironing board - you name it, they had it! There were also chocolates and delicious cakes left in the room... More

We always wanted to go to Padstow and sample Rick Stein's Seafood place. We decided my Wife's 40th birthday would be the perfect excuse so made plans to have a week there in October 2011. Having researched B&B's in Padstow we opted for Callycroft and we couldn't have made a better choice. John and Dee are exceptional hosts and the... More

We stayed in "Driftwood" for just one night. The room was very pleasant indeed. It was very comfortable and clean. John and Dee take pains to ensure that guests needs are fully catered for. The additional extras are very much appreciated when one is on holiday and distinguish this b & b from many a rival. The weather was abysmal... More

Our room, the Oyster room was lovely with its own sitting room complete with a fridge and full size en suite with bath and a lovely range of toiletries. As well as the usual refreshment tray, there was a cafetiere with fresh coffee, chocolates and fresh cake every day. Fresh milk in the fridge and a decanter of sherry, together... More

We had a very warm welcome at Cally Croft from John and Dee. Our room was extremely comfortable with lots of home touches and the breakfasts where splendid. It's approximately 5 minutes walk into the harbour area but having chosen to eat at two of the best restaurants in Padstow (Paul Ainsworth's No 6 and Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant) we... More

My husband and I stayed at Cally Croft for my 30th birthday and had a really lovely stay. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, with really well thought out touches, fresh milk, various teas and coffee, fresh cakes every day and sherry. In the bathroom there are lots of locally made products including moisturisers and shampoo. A mere 5 minute walk... More
