Coswarth House provided an excellent base during our recent trip to Padstow. It is conveniently situated for the Cookery School and the centre of the town. We stayed in the Brunyee Room which was well appointed and beautifully decorated. Thoughtful touches included flapjacks, fudge and fresh milk. The bathroom is huge with a lovely bath and shower. As described there... More

A three day stay in a lovely room, we were well looked after, great breakfasts down at Rick Stein's cafe. The house is just a stroll into town for the restaurants, private, quiet and great views, we can't fault it. The on-site parking really helps as Padstow can get busy at any time of year, just so convenient for all... More

We stayed here for two nights. We had a lovely warm welcome with a glass of fizz. Our room was lovely, the décor was beautiful. I have doubts about having breakfast at Rick Steins café. It was ok for us when we stayed the weather was fantastic, but if it was raining any mornings it is quite a walk there... More

To start with the positives. The location of the house is good as it's only a short walk into the centre of Padstow. The glass of bubbly on arrival was a nice touch. The staff when we saw them were friendly. We stayed in the Veranda room and the main bedroom was a nice room. The fudge by the bedside,... More

My wife and I stayed here and it was probably the best room we have ever stayed in. The decor is beautiful and luxurious which made for a very comfortable couple of days. The location is great (although a sttep walk back up from town!) and we would certainly return here if we ever go back to Padstow. It is... More

This was our 2nd trip to Coswarth House and we stayed in the main house, walking through a long hall passing closed doors on each side. Clint was very welcoming and helpful, but then he left! Came back at night to complete darkness. We had a problem with the water one night and had to make 3 calls before we... More

Our stay was booked for my 40th which Jack remembered which was lovely. Our room Brunyee was lovely. The stay was perfect and so luxurious, aromatherapy toiletries, dressing gowns, beach towels, bubbly on arrival, fudge, flapjack and Amazon movies. Can't wait to go back!

Really stunning place with a fabulous wet room shower. Very close to local amenities with a fabulous breakfast at Rick Stein's cafe which is five minutes walk from the property. An attractive garden with a table and chairs to sit on and in a very quiet area. Martin/Sheila

We are just back from our 2nd visit to Coswarth House and it was just as lovely as we remember it, if not more so and I wish we could have stayed another night or two. We were given a warm and friendly welcome by Clinton who offered us a hand with our luggage and quickly poured us a glass... More

We took a pre-Christmas break to Padstow in early December 2014. Nestled a 5 minute walk from the centre is Coswarth, a fine Edwardian property in its own grounds with ample parking to the side. The moment you step through the door you can feel the care and attention to detail in maintaining the property. We were made to feel... More
