All in all a great weekend get away. We stayed for 2 nights in the Betjeman room - beautifully decorated with a fantastic bed, large and very comfortable bathroom (with a fantastic shower) and lovely views out over the gardens. Arrived on Friday night to be met by Alan the owner. Having read some of the other reviews online I... More

Must admit that the restaurant was smaller and 'more intimate' that I was expecting - but the food was fantastic and worth every penny - both dinner and breakfast. It was heavenly - and the staff were lovely - but not overbearing. Can't quite understand the comments about the owners - they were extremely friendly and helpful (perhaps they have... More

At only 20 minutes drive from Newquay airport this property is fantastic for a short break, and the restaurant serves food to rival the best London restaurants. We were made very welcome on arrival, including a glass of local "champagne". Having booked the "luxury" garden suite at £250 a night we were expecting something special, however, blood red painted walls,... More

Best meal I have ever had. Pity about the attiitude of the owner. He could do with a trip to a charm school. If he only knew how to hanldle customers this place would be wonderful. I would not return becasue of this. A shame becasue the food is fantastic!

We stayed here for two nights in May, I must admit that having seen their website I was really looking forward to it. However I think that it is only a B&B and could not be described as a hotel. The rooms were nice and it's location was perfect for what we wanted. However, it is over priced for what... More

After arriving at this beautiful hotel (I wouldn't call it a b&b), we were shown to our very nice room. Unfortunately, I had the worst nights sleep ever. The duvet was heavy and appeared hollowfibre rather than a luxury down duvet. The pillows were desperately uncomfortable with what felt like lots of beads inside rather then lovely goose down pillows... More

My wife and I have just came back from a four day stay at the St Ervan Manor B&B. What a beautiful, relaxing, peaceful stay, with wonderful hospitality. Upon arrival we were upgraded to the Garden Cottage, a nice surprise for the both of us. The break was intended to celebrate my wife's birthday, and was also to be our... More

Lovely approach via quiet lanes and driveway through the enormous garden. A very nice welcome from Jonathan and Lorraine. Our room (Ervan, No 5) had very nice decor, very comfortable bed, caffetiere coffee, but the shower was small and the sink was outside in the room in the opposite corner - not really a problem though. Dinner was excellent -... More
