We chose St Petroc's as my husband isn't keen on fish. Fab menu and excellent service . Drinks are served in the lounge giving you time to ponder over the menu. I had magnet du canard & my husband had steak, both perfectly cooked , followed by a delicious passion fruit pavlova. Definitely recommend Rick's bistro

We booked a dinner, B&B package to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary which, thankfully, doesn't fall in the height of the summer season. For us Padstow is a short drive and a wonderful place to visit (better when it's not pouring with rain!!). Easily located, very friendly and helpful staff and despite being part of the Stein Empire not at... More

We stayed here for a couple of days just after the New Year. Great location with lovely rooms. The food in the Bistro is excellent especially the grill menu. The staff are friendly and professional. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed two nights on a great value winter package which included dinner at the Cafe on one night and the Bistro on the other. I have reviewed the restaurants separately. The Seafood restaurant was close for the week of our stay (hence the .package including the Cafe meal)and St Petroc's was due to close at the end of the... More

Stayed for 2 nights after Christmas - the hotel had been shut for the break immediately prior to our arrival and the impression was there were still a few hangovers from the holiday. Our room was fine and the décor lovely (as with all our previous experience of Jill's style). However a myriad of little things let down our stay... More

Stayed here for Padstow Christmas Festival. Great location two minutes from the harbour. Nice room, bit small but very comfortable, top floor and very steep stairs to access, so if you find stairs tricky avoid that room. Great breakfast and nice staff, very friendly. No parking so must use public parking, but that's a problem in Padstow. Fantastic weekend.

We had a lovely stay at St. Petroc's hotel. The room we had was really well thought out. With a really comfortable bed and sofa. Really liked the hampers on the table. Breakfast in the morning had a large choices. And cooked was very good. Thank you to all the staff for making are stay more relaxing.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a two night break which included dinner in the Bistro on one night and dinner at The Seafood Restaurant on the other night. The reception for Rick Stein's accommodation is at the Seafood Restaurant but the staff walk you up the hill to the St. Petroc's Hotel, assisting with luggage if necessary, and... More

Small but airy dining room in a lovely old hotel. Food excellent and beautifully cooked from a promisingly shortish menu. Rump steak was the best I have ever tasted and so tender and my husbands scallops were cooked to perfection. service good. Would definitely come again. Good wine list though expensive by the glass
