My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights end July. We stayed in the St Decamon's room in the attic a fantastic room with great views of the estuary. A big bonus with this room was private parking as anyone who has been to padstow will know that parking is a big issue. We had meals at both the... More

Have just returned from Padstow having stayed for two nights at St Petroc's. We booked a 'Generous' room due to having our dog with us but mainly because it came with parking in the hotel garage just across the road. Parking is a nightmare in Padstow. The room was gorgeous looking out onto the courtyard garden but nowhere near the... More

Stayed here with friends for one night. We had the yellow room, this was just lovely. Light and airy big room. We ate in the bistro and have to say we were very disappointed. We were there with friends for my husbands birthday. We had arranged to meet 1/2 hour before our meal for pre-drinks. There is no bar, and... More

We stayed at Perranporth for a week in early September so a trip to Jamie's 15 at Watergate and to one of Rick's eateries in Padstow were definitely on the tick list (as another reviewer has also put it). I am a fan of Rick Stein's TV shows but had an open mind about his establishments and have mixed feelings... More

Padstow is very charming and pretty, but I think that many who visit will agree that it should be called Steins Harbour. I love watching Rick on tv and have purchased many off his books, but unfortunately I think the small town is being saturated and hence take a second mortgage when visiting. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very... More

Came for our parents 50th anniversary and as well as having great comfortable stay they sorted flowers and cakes for us no problem.. Will be back. Love being able to chill but 5 mins walk from the heart of Padstow. Only small complaint is it can be fairly noisy at night and early morning if you are a light sleeper.... More

As we were staying in the cottage almost opposite booked this for an evening with 4 teenagers in tow. All worries of it being too stuffy for them were soon eliminated and upon welcome we had a wonderful evening. Services was neither slow nor to rushed food was delightful and they even presented us with more veggie options for our... More

We stayed at St Petroc's for one night out of the three we spent in Padstow. We stayed at St Edmunds the other two night, that was just wonderful. Before we comment on the downside of St Pet's, we must say that we are usually fans of all of the Stein properties, we've stayed in them all - they're of... More

My son booked several weeks ago for his 40th birthday. We received a friendly welcome and were taken to our table straight away. The food was excellent but not pretentious. Children were well catered for and the portions were much larger than expected. The fish was beautiful and the deserts amazing. The service was efficient and relaxed which we enjoyed.... More

Stayed for 2 nights here special birthday treat & wasn't disappointed. Asked for harbour view room was beautiful. Ate on the last night at the Bistro & we thought it better by far than the seafood restaurant. Definitely not for an inexpensive break but worth the stay.
