My husband and i stayed in St. Petroc's a few weeks ago. I love Rick Stein's programmes and had always wanted to visit the Seafood Restaurant but we just hadn't got round to it. I found their website excellent and the whole booking process extremely efficient. We stayed in an estuary view room St. Decamon's which was tastefully decorated and... More

Padstow is a wonderful location to visit and St Petroc's is the perfect place to stay. This review is long over due as we have now stayed there four times - which . The rooms are stunning and see you relax the moment you enter. This time we stayed in Prospect House - the room did not quite have the... More

We booked in to the bistro to celebrate a 45th. There were five of us, and the welcome and waiting staff couldn't have been better. I wish I caught the name of the waiter we had, as he was so funny, attentive and helpful. We all went for starters and mains and these all proved to be the highlight for... More

My wife and I visited Padstow to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time. We stayed in the St Issey room at St Pedroc's which is a cosy room. This is more than ample, with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and views over the roof tops down to the harbour. The hotel it self is well appointed... More

Our long weekend stay at St Petroc was just perfect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room (we stayed in a generous room- St Merryl) was so relaxing and beautifully decorated. We ate in the bistro on the Saturday night and had the chateaubriand ... It was one of the best meals I've ever had! Can't wait to... More

We spent one night here for a birthday treat for my partner, we are quite local but didn't fancy driving home after eating out at the Seafood restaurant. I booked the 40th Anniversary package which included an overnight stay at Prospect House, dinner at the Seafood Restaurant, breakfast, a signed copy of one of Rick's books and a bottle of... More

funnily enough we also stayed in the attic room over the Easter weekend. I can wholeheartedly agree with the previous comments. Although we unfortunately didn't see Rick!! We thought the service and the food was brilliant. One of the best places we've stayed at. Plus we had our dog with us. She loved the "Chalky" dog blanket. When we come... More

I booked a stay at St Petrocs as a gift to my Rick Stein loving partner. We stayed in the smaller room "The Attic Room" which I think was one of the cosy rooms. On arrival we were greeted by one of the hosts who took our baggage and did a great introduction to the room. It really was exactly... More

Eaten here lots, normally one of my favourite places, but new season, new staff, my recent visit was oh so dissapointing. No attention to detail, service sloppy, had to find my own drinks and menu, tables in main restaurant had been rearranged and not attractive angle to sit, all the little extras now cost so much eg. Bread on table... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at St Petroc's as a treat for my 30th birthday. Upon entering we were greeted by the friendly receptionist who checked us in very swiftly and gave us some very helpful tips on where things were in Padstow. We were then shown to our room which was in the attic of the building. The room... More
