I stayed in Fennel,a very nice room on first floor front. Very noisy with passers by talking loudly, restaurant cleanup late at night, then seagulls and very noisy delivery vans slamming doors etc in the morning. Thermos of milk went off overnight, and I was only offered coffee, orange juice and toast for breakfast. If somebody was supposed to take... More

We stayed at Rick Stein's B&B above his café for three nights, as a part of our two month trip around the UK. I knew you pay for the name....I get it...and I was happy to do so because I wanted to stay at Rick Stein's. The room was up some stairs and along a very narrow corridor and lugging... More

Having booked to eat at the Seafood Restaurant and Paul Ainsworth Restaurant, we needed somewhere to stay and having stayed at Rick Stein's hotel a few years ago we thought this would be perfect so booked a two night stay from Tuesday to Thursday. We stayed in the room called the Courtyard, which is the largest of the rooms at... More

My partner and I decided to have an impromptu lunch today at Rick Stein's cafe. We were surprised how empty the establishment was and were quickly seated and given menus. Within 5 mins another couple came in, sat drown and immediately told the waitress what wine they wanted. Five minutes later the waitress took their order. I was quite relaxed... More

We travelled from Australia and had dinner at the seafood restaurant which was great. It's a shame the same cannot be said of the cafe accommodation. Our room was TINY! No room to swing cat , let alone two adults with 2 suitcases. The room was also hot, even though it wasn't summer , the window gave no relief and... More

A pleasant place to stay the rooms are well appointed but quite hot inside. Everything you could want in a room was there with lovely products. A bit like a rabbit warren to get to our room at the back, no view there. Big plus is the fantastic offering for breakfast in the cafe downstairs. Top class indeed! Loved my... More

We were lucky enough to stay in the accommodation above the cafe on middle Street for a long weekend while celebrating my husbands 40th birthday. The room was clean and cosy with a VERY comfortable bed. The mattress and pillows were so soft it was like sleeping on a cloud. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels provided... More

We stayed here as part of the very reasonable Rick Stein accommodation for 2 nights with 2 nights food at his seafood restaurant and Bistro. The food didn't disappoint . The room around the corner in Middle Street from the restaurants was small but cosy. Stylish in nautical colours, comfy bed. The bathroom was also small although new furnishings, we... More

We stayed in a 'snug' room above the Cafe for 2 nights b&b. I thought reasonably priced. Room was clean and just perfect for us. It was facing the street but was not too noisy. Breakfast downstairs in the Cafe was great - really good food and really relaxed atmosphere. Cafe is situated right in the middle of Padstow, parking... More
