On arrival the property was freezing despite the radiators being on. We had some difficulty in warming the lounge as one of the plug sockets did not work and so we had to hunt around for a multi-gang from elsewhere in the property to be able to plug the fire and tv in together! We found a multi-gang plugging in... More

We stayed here for my husbands 60th celebrations, with all the family and a baby. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen is great. It was strange that towels were not included but bedding was. The kitchen lacked serving dishes, and a few basics like scales that measured in ounces ! The main problem was it was cold. The... More

Went to the cottage with a group of couples. Something I liked was that we were left to it at the cottage but if ever we needed help the owners were nearby. The cottage is large and has different areas to socialise depending on the mood, lovely dining room, comfy lounge and your own bar area with games, this would... More

10 of us aged 14 months to 75 years spent the week here for Christmas. Loads of room and tastefully decorated. The professional kitchen was a bonus and made the main Christmas lunch a doddle. Close to friendly shops and lovely dog walks. Definitely recommended.

Stayed here for a week in August with extended family, and we all absolutely loved the house and surroundings. The house is huge, nicely decorated and has everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the huge dining room and professional kitchen, and the games room was a bonus too! The surrounding countryside is beautiful, and we enjoyed many a sunset... More
