Poor staff , poor beer , poor food . Avoid at all costs as this is a terrible place to.visit . Run out of food , beer flat and the staff and locals seem to resent visitors from out of town . For a business in a holiday area they need a clear out of deadwood staff.

Great coaching hotel in centre of Wadebridge. Friendly place, good check in, nice clean room and bathroom. After cycling down the camel trail and back to padstow, we have a scrumptious supper in the busy bar. Breakfast is really good indeed. Would recommend as great value well located and very friendly place to stay in North cornwall.

I was a business trip last week in the Rock and Port Isaac area and needed to stay an extra night so decided to try the centre of Wadebridge. Heard it comes alive on a Friday night, I was not disappointed. The live band 'Hobson Choice' played a good mix of rock and roll to jazz to ballads. I bought... More

The Molesworth is a one off. Clearly a former coaching inn from yesteryear it is now a pub, hotel, restaurant and bars. Staff are full of beans and the whole place has a real individual feel about it, so often lacking in the major chains, so this is a real plus. Room was clean and comfy. Food was top quality,... More

Had a variety of problems staying here, so here's a copy of the letter I sent to the manager by way of review My family and I recently stayed at The Molesworth Arms (Friday 25th July) but sadly it wasn’t the best of experiences. I was initially worried when I telephoned 24 hours before our arrival to check everything was... More

Don't stay here! The room we had was cramped and tatty with a window onto the roof area with smells from the kitchen. Continental breakfast was cereal { 3 choices} and toast ! The staff were friendly except the barman who wouldn't serve us at 10.40 as he had called last orders and Cashed up!

To be fair, in terms of the food on offer, this venue doesn't pretend to be anything other than a pub/hotel offering pub grub and this becomes quickly evident from the ketchup and brown sauce bottles placed on the scrubbed pine dining tables. Therefore, we weren't expecting fine dining only good ingredients that were cooked well and with care. The... More

Pretty, central and characterful inn in the centre of Wadebridge. Flower baskets, make the place look pretty from the outside. Staying in August and weather a bit chilly, so nice there is a plug in radiator to take off evening chill. Room is well appointed and the breakfast choices are good. Would be nice to have some fruit though added... More

We stayed here as a last minute decision as fancied a couple of days in Cornwall. Room was great and at a reasonable price. Cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had. Staff were friendly and accommodating . It is a pub, so maybe not absolutely ideal for young families , but we stayed a Sunday night and had... More

A travelling group of golfers, we were puzzled by the disparity in the reviews on TA, having been recommended this hotel by the St Enedoc golf club. The first thing to occur was that the hotel tried to put through the entire bill for the group on the credit card one of us had given to secure the booking, as... More
