Popped in for hot choc and cheesy chips, made feel welcome, lovely and warm with homely feel food looked lovely and well priced, would definitely go back again, as they allow dogs in as well is a bonus to us as a lot of places don't, so well done. The hot chocolate was yummy actually tasted of chocolate and not... More

Arrived in January and stayed for 9 weeks, rooms fitted the bill just nicely though the tvs are a touch on the small side, great bar to eat and more so in our case to drink in, good food and a great full breakfast was on offer, parking out the back in the car park was sometimes a pain as... More

We grabbed a table on a wet March lunchtime and the hostelry was rather busy. Menu was very simple, food arrived promptly and was of good quality. Wonderfully atmospheric establishment that is steeped in history.

The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Padstow, tucked away in a nearby village. We stayed in the housekeepers room which was pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and there are good public rooms although we did not use them. Some say they find the drive difficult but with care we did not find it to be... More

If you don't mind music that is so loud (at 12 midnight) that you can;t hear the TV in your room even when it is up on full blast and the pictures on the wall are shaking then you will love this tatty place (we had to go out and walk around wadebridge at 11.30pm to escape the noise). The... More

There was a Rat under the floorboards, horrible disgusting cold food, the room we had wasn't the one we payed for, and the hotel wasn't like the photos on their website. The car parking was horrendous, Very unprofessional staff I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Saw the advert for Pizzas from the wood burning oven and as we pizza aficionados, went in. Friendly welcome, good beer and we decided on the Cornish seafood pizza. I asked for extra garlic, to be told that they might not have any! This is a pub offering the best/only way of cooking Pizza; homemade an thin and crispy, not... More
