We have stayed here twice now on weekend trips to visit the family. The accommodation is clean and we'll presented and they serve some really good classic grub. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are welcoming. The landlady Sarah is a laugh ando makes you feel totally at home.

Very tasty. Nice plateful and friendly staff. Have also had lunch here before and was also tasty. Would recommend they also have lots of specials at good prices and bands play there most weeks and seems to be a good atmosphere

Popped in for a drink before the showing of Northern Soul at the nearby cinema. Had a Hendricks and was suitably impressed to be offered a fever tree tonic to go with my gin. It was served with cucumber which of course is the only way to serve Hendricks!!! Then my visit was topped off with a packet of scampi... More

I only need to stay over night in Wadebridge for one night - and this was perfect. The room was very nicely decorated, tasteful and very good size. And, half the price of the local Travelodge who was charging nearly £90 for the night. The Bridge on Wool is an average pub, staff were very friendly. Also, surprisingly quiet given... More

Wadebridge is our go-to town when we are in Cornwall. And Bridge on Wool the go-to pub. Boys luke to play pool and watch the Test and I like a pint. Staff friendly so happy to recommend. Good name for a pub as well

Stayed here on second night of Land's End John o'Groats cycle trip. Arrived tired and hungry. staff very kind and helpful, gave us safe place for bikes. Room comfortable and clean, ensuite shower room was good. Ate in the bar - good meal which satisfied our appetites. Noise from street disturbed us at night, but used foam earplugs so slept... More

I recently visited the bridge on wool with my children. We each chose a small full English breakfast. The food was delicious and presented to a high standard. Excellent value for money. Lovely service, very helpful and friendly staff. We will be returning to try the lunch menu.

I know this pub of old! The new landlady Sarah, has it at its best. Great food at great prices. Regular live music. All the traditional things a pub should have. Great atmosphere. Lovely to see the B&B up and running. Well done to the team. Special mention for Sam. Every pub should have a Sam! Lol

Upon entering a pub one would expect to be greeted be a friendly face, potentially a smile to encourage eager patrons to part with their money, alas, not this establishment. Ordering a drink was an emotional roller coaster of being made to feel inadequate before then parting with money under a watchful glare of the not so cheery bar-lady. Despite... More

Music played far too late into the night and incredibly loudly. (More loudly than you would expect for typical pub music). I have stayed in plenty of pub b&bs before so I'm used to the typical noise and hubub of a pub night but this was something else. The only good thing about this place is the location. If, unlike...
