We stayed in the Woodland Cabin. It was really cosy and warm with the log burner going. Perfect for a weekend away with the dog. Really lovely walk along the river nearby too. Owners very helpful and keen to give tips about best pubs nearby. Would definitely stay again.

My girlfriend and I spent five nights in the Woodland Cabin during April 2015. We had a wonderful time, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a break from the noise and the haste, and a return to a simpler way of life in beautiful surroundings. The Cabin is more spacious than the photos currently on the Mill Valley... More

Just returned from a stay in the beautiful acron yurt, booked as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday, & I am so pleased I chose mill valley! The location is fab & we loved the yurt, so warm and cute at night with the fire & candles lit! The outside area was perfect & we spent hours sat enjoying a... More

Just came back from one of the best, most relaxing holidays we've been on. Stayed in the Acorn yurt, after switching last minute from the Romantic and I'm very happy we did, much bigger and we preferred the placing of the yurt in the field, plus the outside cooking area was great! We loved our little routine every night, preparing... More

Myself and my partner stayed in the Romantic Yurt and the Woodland Cabin, both of which have their own attractions, we had an amazing two nights just keeping the log-burner going, eating, drinking and relaxing! It's a real eye-opener to go back to the basics of living to keep warm, have natural light, boil water and cook food, the experience... More

This was our third visit to Mill Valley and yet again we where not dissapointed. Stayed in the pixie yurt with 7 year old son, wife and dog. Lovely and cosy with woodburning stove going. NO electric, no phone signal....Absoloute bliss! Even enjoyed gaurding the hot water while we stoked the burner for the bath house. Only noise at night... More

The Pixie Yurt is beautiful, site has excellent facilities (particularly loved the wood fired hot bath by candle light after a long walk on the beach!), very friendly and helpful hosts. We'll definitely be back, thanks for a great stay!

Stayed in the Shepard hut in January 2015, enjoyed the peace and back to nature approach. Log burner is great and warms the hut up quickly, the owners sell the sacks of logs for £2.50 and they are in your hut waiting, they are cheaper then the local supermarket. Parking on site, kitchen area useful, location great and easy to... More

My wife and I shared a fabulous three days staying in the woodland hut which is in itself a beautifully hand crafted work of art. The location was great; secluded enough to feel isolated from the outside world but close to lots of places to visit like padstow, The Eden project and the Camel trail for cycling. The amenities are... More

A great experience. Thoroughly enjoyed by all whom stayed (party of 8). Spacious, warm, provided all we needed. The owners were happy, polite and very accommodating!! A very nice, quiet place. Also very close to some other beautiful parts of Cornwall. Many thanks! : )
