Stayed 2 nights choose Wadebridge as convenient location for us visiting Padstow, Port Isaac, Minack Theatre and Lands End etc. The rooms have recently been refurbished with new decor curtains etc, very comfortable "Dreamer kingsize Bed" but new design headboard very restrictive, missed shelf instead you get cubby holes and built in lights. No Robe hook in bathroom or shelf... More

This Travelodge is conveniently located in the town of Wadebridge and ideal for visitors to North Cornwall. It is only approx. 9 miles from the foodie town of Padstow whilst avoiding the higher tourist prices charged to stay there. The room was clean and comfortable - just what you usually expect from a Travelodge. It is adjacent to a Marston's... More

A great location, great views & comfortable beds. Also very helpful staff that couldn't do enough to help us. We stopped overnight to break up a quick visit to Cornwall. One thing, don't faff about looking for a hairdryer, ask reception and they'll get one for you :-)

We had a friend do a reccy for us I think it was in Dec, who was shown the ground floor disabled room. We spoke to the hotel directly and then booked having been reassured that the accomodation was ok for my disabled husband. On arrival we were told our room was on the second floor . Yes there is... Me and my part er stayed for 3 nights and used it as a base for exploring Cornwall, it was perfect. It's a Travelodge, so you know it is pretty basic, but the rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. The bed was so comfortable that we almost bought one of them! My only problem is that you... More

booked in advance. Room was as described and condition was excellent, no complaints. We were given a different room on the second evening as we wanted a view. The staff were more than helpful in arranging the swap. Only downside was the mattress which was not to our liking and left us pining for our memory foam one. So maybe... More

Don't be put off by any previous poor experience of Travelodges or by the ludicrously low price online (£33 a night, room only, pre-paid) - having paid so little I admit to feeling a bit worried beforehand, but this turned out to be the bargain of our motoring holiday. Easy to find off the A30 and very handy for Padstow,... More

This one has had a refurbishment recently and as such is very well presented. Had a room on the road side and as such it was a little noisy from about 6am. Diner in the Falcon next door was good value but breakfast the next morning was very poor value, suggest having breakfast on the road somewhere else!

Apart from a few coat hangers there was no storage and one plastic chair in the room. If you like to use the floor to put your clothes on and are happy to live out of a suitcase, as the floor is the only place provided, then Travel Lodge is the place for you. Whatever happened to the lovely rooms... More
