This is one of the modern Travelodges and has new beds etc which make for a good nights sleep. The staff are fantastic - really welcoming and happy to chat - they also have added little touches like a book where you can suggest places to eat etc. on the same site is a Marstons which is handy for a... Travel Lodges are cheap and cheerful and served our purpose which was exploring the north coastal areas and the moors. The staff are courteous and helpful. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms which are basic yet comfortable and functional. Similar to other reviewers, 209 was road facing, and the noise with the window open was too loud... More

Had stayed here last year but found the beds to be very hard and uncomfortable. Was not intending to stay this year but was persuaded by the new advertising that the beds were now comfortable........THEY ARE NOT !!! I would now only use a Travelodge as a rest stop when on a long journey if there was no alternative.

When we arrived in evening and was welcomed by very pleasant lady. Room 218 was facing road which is noisy with window open but to hot with it shut. Reception lent us a fan, which helped a bit. Found the bed a bit hard for me.very basic room but all we needed. Having the Falcon pub next door was very... More

This is a cheap and cheerful chain of hotels. I wouldn't want to stay here in this particular hotel for any length of time as it is in close proximity to a bypass and a major road down to Wadebridge. The room itself was clean but very basic, we did have coffee making facilities and an ensuite. No bedside cabinets... More

Me and my husband visited from 29th September - 2nd October, for our 3rd wedding anniversary. Check in was fast and easy, the receptionist was lovely and friendly. Our room ( a disabled double room) was lovely and clean, my only downside was there are no bedside tables, my husband has a machine to help him breath during the night... More

Check in was functional at best, but the entrance was clean and the glass polished. The lift was tatty with stickers over the lift levels telling us one side was for staff........The room was clean, and although the shower curtain was pink at the bottom and the mirror smeared, overall with the child's bed made up, we were pleased in... Hotel was much better than had been anticipated, and suited our needs to a t. The position for the North Cornwall Coast was ideal. Having a Marston next door , serving breakfasts and evening meals was an added bonus, all at very reasonable prices.

With competition high in this market it is good to see Travelodge make big improvements to their rooms. For me Premiere Inn has always had the edge when it comes to their accommodation but Travelodge is definitely close judging by this hotels makeover. The lady on reception was very pleasant welcoming us to Wadebridge and a having a brief chat.... More
