We have stayed in some impressive B&B's during our many months of travel, and Courtlands Farm is up there with our favourites. The house is picture postcard, and in a beautiful setting- it is peaceful, clean, stylish, charming, welcoming, homely and top quality. The area is handy to many places of interest, including Battle, Rye and Rudyard Kipling's house. We... More

My stay was for one night only, sadly, whilst in East Sussex for a business meeting and what a gem. Quintessentially English, magnificent room, finest attention to detail and what glorious hosts Trish and Goff are. Loved it so much, my wife and myself are now planning a weeks stay during the summer.

An absolutely beautiful house, a great - welcome, generous hospitality, a luxurious bedroom and the use of a beautiful sitting room - all followed by a superb breakfast. It simply could not have been a better.

Since staying at Courtlands Farm a few years ago and enjoying the experience immensely we had vowed to return as soon as circumstances would allow. Unfortunately this took a little over two years and I had so looked forward to getting back to visit this East Sussex gem and the wonderful Goff and Trish that i was a little nervous... More

We were lucky to get a last minute overnight stay at Courtlands Farm due to a last minute cancellation and couldn't have been happier. The reviews we read we're all spot on! On arrival we opened the large double gate and as we drove up the driveway Trish appeared to greet us with a warm welcome, offered to carry our... More

We needed overnight accommodation for a brief visit to Sussex and felt very lucky to have found Courtlands Farm. From the friendly booking arrangements online, through the warm welcome on arrival and breakfast the next morning, nothing could have been better. The room was large and very comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Everything was first class. Highly recommended.

This was our second stay at Courtlands Farm, and the previous years excellent standards were maintained. From the very warm welcome, with tea and home made cake, a current programme of the Glyndebourne season to browse, and very comfortable and well appointed rooms. The breakfast is, simply, unbeatable, from the superb fruit salad, including freshly picked raspberries, a cooked feast... More

Lovely quaint old world house. Watch your head doorways, very spacious bedrooms. Very friendly, helpful hosts really made our U.K. visit start well. Generous and welcoming. Comfortable night's sleep, warm and cosy bathroom, lovely outlook from the bedroom window over the ponds and paddocks. Still quite close to the village for a lovely meal at the Pub. I am very... We stated one night as we were attending a wedding in the area. We were welcomed completely into their home and our suite was sumptuous. Many hotels would be hard pressed to match Courtlands Standards. We were brought a welcoming cuppa to our room. The house and grounds are magnificent as was the breakfast.
