First class meal in this small family run hotel. Food as usual superb, and staff very good. Vibrant, friendly and first class. We will come again. Family welcome, and dog friendly. Perfect. Much money spent by the owner keeping this hotel up to date.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of August. The room was spacious with a good sized en suite and it was very clean. One quibble would be the lack of storage space, the wardrobe was very low so that long garments were a bit scrunched. The breakfast was excellent with good choices based upon quality ingredients .... Wow what a lovely Bistro. So friendly - so clean - so modern and the food is lovely and fresh. We have been visiting the Fly half since we discovered the place in January and always pay a visit when we are in the area. The food on all our visits is fresh and very well presented regardless if it... More

We ate here a couple of weeks ago (two adults, two kids). Pretty good menu selection and reasonable value. Interesting beers behind the bar also. NIce modern layout and the staff were very helpful. I would return.

Fantastic meal tonight at Nether Abbey. Main meals were great and desserts even better. (Just because to me I eat the main to get to the best part) lol Only down side was with the fishcakes. It said with salad but you only got lettuce. Thats not a salad!! Service was bit slow but lovely staff. Will look forward to... More

Visited the Nether Abbey for dinner with a couple of my friends. We were guided to a table by a waitress but then rudely told to move by what looked like the manager. The steak was tiny for the price paid for it and the peppercorn sauce watery. Apart from that the rest of the food was lovely, as were... More

We stayed at the Nether Abbey for 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious, well decorated and appointed, with a comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Toiletries were renewed daily and bathrobes and slippers supplied. There were tea/coffee making facilities and on arrival, a small tray of fresh fruit. Breakfast was plentiful and good, the more so for... More

There was 19 in our party and we had a brilliant night in the Nether Abbey Music Room. Hidden behind some fantastic old wooden doors this room is used for dining during day/night but can also be hired for a private function. We created our own menu of various types of burgers, followed by berry pavlova. The homemade burgers were... More
