We have stayed several times at Arch House in different rooms, all very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. Many individual features, modern 'seaside' touches everywhere but also a real sense of the house's history. Kate and her family are so welcoming, like visiting friends each time although not in the least intrusive. Breakfast is amazingly good, lots of... More

Went for a weekend break and arrived around mid-day. Each room has its own space in the car park, which is a great idea. Booked in and went to room which although opening on to the outdoor deck was surprisingly spacious and private. Each room had room and front door key so we were able to come and go at... More

Our bedroom had a four poster bed, with no canopy. The bed was spacious and comfy. The walls are thin so one could hear people moving around in adjacent rooms. Generally the bedroom was of a very high standard let down by a small, cramped ensuite bathroom with a tiny sink. Also watching the TV from the bed was awkward... More

Not our usual place to stay, but very happy and will be back. Great to have a car park in wells, comfy bed and well sized room. Breakfast was great and liked the menu you can choose from the night before.

We have stayed at Arch House a couple of times before and always enjoyed our stay. Kate and her staff are very welcoming and friendly. This time we chose one of the garden rooms which was lovely, had it been slightly later in the year we could have made use of the decking outside.

We stayed at Arch House with friends over Easter 2015 and all of our group were made very welcome. The B&B is an attractive old building and the bedrooms were nicely decorated. Our room on the first floor of the main house had a fairly cramped bathroom, but it was adequate for our needs. There are also ground floor garden... More

My hubby & I stayed for two nights. We found Arch House very clean, comfortable & quiet. Not much power in the shower. We stayed in a ground floor Garden Room - which opened onto decking. We had initially been shown to an upstairs Garden Room & asked to be moved as we were hoping to make use of the... More

We have just stayed for two nights in the Crows Nest and were very satisfied. The Crows Nest has a bedroom, a lounge area up a flight of stairs and bathroom with shower. We particularly liked the finishing touches to the rooms with a seaside theme. Arch House is perfectly located within a short walk of the quay and town.... More

We paid £130 for 1 night in the Crows Nest. This place is theoretically a 4 star hotel but to be frank its a 3 star as far as we are concerned. Its distinctly average. We had to wedge a coaster under the door to stop the wind coming through from the landing making the door rattle. Sadly we had... More

My wife and I stayed in the Crow's Nest just for one night, and found it comfortable and well equipped. We found Kate the owner to be very friendly and welcoming, and the cooked breakfast was great! Also well located for the quay and the town centre - just a short stroll from each.
