nice bed and breakfast although for a 4 star was expecting maybe a little more. We had the crows nest and the sofa bed opens into a double which is great for kids............however they only provide one sheet for the bed which you need for the bottom and blankets for the top.........unfortunately the blankets are too small for the bed... Stayed 4 nights with family in two tastefully furnished garden rooms with own table and chairs on patio. My daughter and I had our horses stabled at Mill Farm next door so we could put our dirty boots outside on the patio - ideal! We found our ensuite shower rooms of good size but we are all very small! Good... More

Booked here for 2 nights - Friendly welcome, perfect location, easy to walk to Quayside, the main street 'staithe street' , Buttlands area and the beach. Bus stop for coasthopper across the road from B&B . Easy walk passing bowling green into a lovely village. Pubs all busy and booked up, make a reservation in advance if you plan to... More

Just spent the weekend in Wells and a group of eight of us stayed at Arch House. The location is fine as it is easy to find sitting alongside the road into the town but just a short stroll away from the shops, pubs and restaurants. We found our first floor room to be on the small side, perfectly adequate... More

We used this as a base for visiting UEA. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast with cereals, juice and wonderful full English too - vegetarian and gluten free options available. Even though we arrived late we got a warm welcome and help finding our way around. Wells is not a big place and everything is walkable from here.

We have stayed at many B&B's around the country and this is up there with the best. Friendly welcome, great food and a wonderful setting. Very central for everywhere you'd want to visit. Garden room was well presented, very comfortable and the decked patio was an added bonus. There was ample parking for every room. It is in easy walking... More

We stayed here recently for 2 nights and found the trip very pleasant. The B&B is located in an excellent location within easy reach of pubs, shops and the quayside. The check in process was quick and efficient, the B&B very clean and nicely decorated. There is ample off-road parking with more than enough space for each room with a... More

We have stayed at Arch House many times, Kate has always been very welcoming and Monday was no different! We stayed in a garden room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the patio area is a real sun trap with tables and chairs outside each room. The breakfast room is lovely with chunky wood furniture, the breakfast itself was... More

I had high hopes for the Arch House, having read some of the better reviews, but I was sadly disappointed with the accommodation. On a positive note, the location was good and breakfast was great. The problem was a number of niggles with the room, which was in the older part of the building and at the front of the... More
