Arrived at one minute past 2 Saturday lunch time. The lady refused blankly to let us order some lunch even though plates were still being bought out!! She just said 'no'. Very rude and off hand - her loss

I've been eating here for nearly 20 years and am rarely disappointed. It was first recommended to us by a gallery owner in Holt who described it as a cross between Mrs Beeton and school dinners and the pies and game casseroles with veg and potatoes on the side are just what you need after a long walk along the... It is over 8 years since we last visited this quirky pub (with attached B&B) at the cross-roads of the small village of Warham, about half a mile south of the main North Norfolk coastal road. The village lies close to Wells-next-the-Sea but you have to know how to find it as the roads are narrow and Warham is not... More

It's like stepping back into time walking into The Three Horseshoes. The walls are brimming with nostalgia and memorabilia but without the accompanying fustiness and dust you would expect. The place is spotlessly clean. The menu is written on a chalk board featuring home made wholesome food including a good choice of vegetarian dishes. The main dishes are all served... More

By the look of the previous reviews people either love the Horseshoes or hate it. We loved it. Staying in the pretty little village of Warham we explored to local pub and I have to say, closed it looked rather unprepossessing. We resolved to return when it had opened and have a drink while we considered whether to et there... More

Quaint old pub in a small village, the pub obviously hasn't changed much in decades and even has some old gas lights. The beer was good and the food was decent. my main gripe is the fact that this pub advertises itself as a pie place and then serves pies in a crock pot with a lid, not a proper... More

The Three Horseshoes is in the centre of Warham, a small village near the North Norfolk coast. There are outside seats, and inside three adjoining rooms. These have loads of posters. pictures, old artifacts and bric a brac- lots of interesting things to look at. We both had garlic mushrooms on toast(a good snack), a pint of bitter from the local... We have visited this pub many times and this visit was typical of what we have always found: Atmosphere is a pub from the past, stone floors, wood tables, open fire, lots of antique and interesting stuff on the walls, a warm friendly place to eat drink and have a chat. Drink: 4 really good ales, a reasonable range of... More

If you like posh fancy grub then this isn't a pub for you. They offer great rustic pies and puddings like steak & kidney or chicken & rabbit and it comes with a plate of mixed veg. Superb meal there once again

Lovely quiet area to sit in either the garden or the courtyard and have a sunny lunch. The inside of the pub looks like it would be a cosy place to linger over lunch in the winter too. The pies they specialise in are delicious. Service was good.
