If you like posh fancy grub then this isn't a pub for you. They offer great rustic pies and puddings like steak & kidney or chicken & rabbit and it comes with a plate of mixed veg. Superb meal there once again

Lovely quiet area to sit in either the garden or the courtyard and have a sunny lunch. The inside of the pub looks like it would be a cosy place to linger over lunch in the winter too. The pies they specialise in are delicious. Service was good.

Reviews so far are either damning or gushing which is an oddity in itself. It's clear that some people loved it and others hated it......our experience is as follows. The pub is in a time warp. Some will describe this as quaint, real, authentic or genuine. My wife and I would say that the whole experience is surreal The decor... More

Came here for a lunch after a long walk and were pleasantly surprised. Good local ales and a lovely local cider. The food was good too and not expensive, I had haddock with eggs which was served with potatoes etc, other members of the party had the pie and crab dish - both excellent. Recommended - good food and beer... More

Stopped for light lunch and ordered ploughmans and mushrooms on toast . The ploughmans was generous with rather bland cheddar and bulked out with potato salad.Ceratinly not good value for nearly £9.The garlic mushrooms were pretty clearly frozen or from a tin and on toated sliced white bread.Garlic was not in much evidence.Again poor value for money. In short this was... This was probably the highlight of a week dining in Norfolk. Very quiet midweek, but a simple traditional menu, well served in nice surroundings. Amazing artichoke soup, nice stilton pate but would have preferred toast/bread to crackers for a starter. Interesting and tasty pies all served with nicely prepared potatoes and veg The pub itself is quite unique, it's like... More

We chose this pub on its reputation and were not disappointed. My wife chose a steak and ale pie and I opted for a garlic and lamb pie. They were both first class! We followed with an apple and red current crumble and a syrup sponge served with a jug of super custard and again top class. On this Thursday... More

having seen the sign for the Pie and Pudding Pub we couldn't resist a visit and well worth a visit it was too, a nice quaint pub with a very large choice of pies and puddings we arrived a little late so were only able to have a main course but this was delicious as was the local beer and... More

On the coast road to Cromer we saw a sign, "pie and pudding pub" so we went, and we are so pleased we did. It is the sort of place that you would only see on TV. The building is very pretty, the rooms inside are cosy, with an open fire and a large colection of Royal memorabilia. It was... More

We chose The Post Office B&B at the Three Horseshoes Pub for our one night stay in Wells because the pub and food had some good revues and we wanted something traditional and a bit quirky and this seemed to deliver… After a long drive we arrived and as we’d been told, there was nobody there to meet us when...
