My partner and I stayed in the Three Horseshoes this weekend. This was a return visit for us, reflecting the fact that we really like the place. It is like going back in time, with all that involves. The décor, including the gas lighting in the bar has a Victorian/Edwardian feel and its way off the beaten track so its... More

Other reviewers have said that this place is like going back in time. They are right. It would have been pretty bad in 1940. In 2015, it's terrible. It's cheap, so you don't expect much. But what you get is even less. No greeting. Just a scruffy note giving room numbers and saying that if we wanted a shower or... More

We ate and drank here on a Sunday evening and really enjoyed the food and the good selection of excellent beers. The home made pies-beef and horseradish and lamb and garlic -were absolutely delicious and served up with fresh vegetables. Chips are banned! The pub is a real gem with gas lights and stuffed full of interesting features-it was a... More

Nothing, but nothing, should ever induce you to stay at this bed and breakfast. Dire in every sense of the word, and the very worst bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. From the greeting note blue tacked to the door as a greeting, to the one bathroom being unusable and having to use that of the one room... More

Just a 10 minute drive from Wells this pub has great, home-cooked food. I have never seen so many pies on one menu. Quirky decor and gas lamps give it a very olde worlde atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

Stayed here for the night on 24th April, found it purely by chance and what a find. Staff were very welcoming and friendly, food was amazing, I would highly recommend the rabbit hotpot, followed by fruit crumble and custard. This is a proper pub with real character, very reasonable prices, can't wait to go back.

My Father, Brother and i came here for lunch today. I can sum it up in one word FANTASTIC. A real English pub that has not been ruined by modernisation. The decor is truly wonderful with many features dating back many years. As for the food……It was excellent. Real meals that filled the plate and not stacked up in the... More

So lovely to find great food, beer ,setting and service without the bland gastro pub feel that has taken over the Norfolk coastal area..Had steak and kidney pie and syrup pudding ... Bliss... The staff were very friendly and welcoming and my husband tells me the beer was excellently kept..

After a weeks visit with family we were recommended this pub by a friend. It's a quaint place in the middle of nowhere with twee old fashioned royal commemorative ornaments and pictures of deceased monarchs on the walls with dusty old fashioned equipment from the 1900s. It's certainly a nice alternative to the modern pubs these days. The food is... More

Some people say that coming to North Norfolk is like travelling back in time to a slower pace of life (although you wouldn't know that from driving round here as a local steams past you at 80MPH). Even so, I was unprepared for The Three Horseshoes in Warham (not Wells, Trip Advisor is quite wrong there). The pub opens at... More
