Just returned from a lovely stay at the Mill House. Nice big bedrooms, gorgeous garden and only a short walk from the town. Staff were extremely friendly, was like visiting friends! The breakfasts are lovely. So much choice of cooked items, done however you would like. Perhaps my only suggestion would be to have a bowl of fresh fruit at... More

Mill House was a real find...a mere stroll to the seafront in Welles but tucked away enough to feel tranquil, calm, removed. The garden setting and building itself was lovely, the hostess friendly, the breakfast terrific. As for the room itself, including shower and all the amenities you'll need, it was nothing less than perfect...the overall space tastefully and mindfully... More

Large former mill property with 8 bedrooms converted to b and b. Under new management and ownership. Good location and convenient for town and harbour. Quiet so able to have windows open all night as it was very warm. Beds comfortable, welcome friendly and breakfast good. Able to sit out in the garden with a few drinks with our friends.... More

We stayed here for two nights. The place has recently been taken over and the new owners are working had to redecorate and improve the house. It will be very good when finished. We were greeted warmly by Sophie who is the manager here, and shown to our room which was spacious and very clean. The bed was the most... More

Mill House is in a good location; the town, the quay and some decent restaurants are all close by, and it's easy to get onto the coastal path. The welcome was friendly. The downstairs twin room where we stayed was warm and clean but that said, it needs a complete makeover - haven't seen a room like that since the... More

My personal view of the mill house is that I found the house to be quite charming, we were welcomed by the owner Mrs.Downy who showed us to our spacious room overlooking the lovely garden.
