After our car broke down we rang Annette to book a room. She kindly got Jim to pick us up from the garage and drive us to the guesthouse. After a stressful day we were upgraded to a bigger room which was comfy and warm. Breakfast was delicious and both Annette and Jim have been very kind and helpful

We first stayed with Jim and Annette for three days in September and decided to stay again as soon as we could. This time we managed to stay for four days and were not disappointed. We were made most welcome by our hosts and of course Rollo and Summer. Our room in their lovely old house was excellent as was... More

Thank you so much for your lovely review. So glad that you enjoyed your stay with us once again. Yes it is very useful that we have a driveway where guests can leave their car and only have a short walk into town We look forward to welcoming you both back soon! More

Spent two nights in this very friendly and welcoming B&B. We stayed in room 2 with our 2 sprockers. Very relaxed, kind and helpful hosts. Breakfasts were lovely and thoroughly enjoyed by us, apart from the incidence of some fellow guests thinking that they & their dog did not have to show any common courtesy towards their hosts or their... Thank you so much for your wonderful review. So glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. I would like to apologise once again for the incident in the breakfast room with another guests puppy and fully support your comments on irresponsible dog owners. Having 2 dogs ourselves we know how difficult it is to find welcoming accomodation when we... More

Having returned home after a three nights' stay at Manor Farm and having read the long list of reports each more complimentary than the next, I can only feel there is something seriously wrong with us. And yet we have travelled and stayed in many different places. We booked at the last minute, and had no problem with the fact... More

The Snug our smallest room is a very popular request with returning guests, but we sympathise with you spending the first night in our largest room and then moving to our smallest. There is a big difference in size, which we clearly stated to you at the time of booking and once again when you arrived. Thank you for your... More

Stayed here for two nights with hubby and dog. We were in room 3 which is the smaller of the 3 rooms but it is lovely and clean and did us fine for two nights. So nice that you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes The Snug is our smallest room but has the advantage of being very peaceful as it is detached from the main house. Yes our breakfast menu is popular, we always use local produce. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! More

Lovely short last minute break to Wells next the Sea. Very reasonably priced compared to some of the robbing b&b's around who put the prices up for a bank holiday. Annette & Jim made us very welcome. Annette and Steve couldnt have made us feel more 'looked after' if they had tried! We gave the breakfast 10 out of 10 and the choice was really good - from omelettes and eggy bread to different types of tea, bread and jams. Our room was a bit small but that is the only negative I could write about because... More

It's good to know that you enjoyed your stay and breakfast. It is very useful to be in a quiet location but within walking distance of the town and harbour. In good weather it's nice to see our guests enjoying the front garden. Should you come to visit us again all our other rooms are larger than The Snug More
