Having read 2 reviews from 2007, were a bit apprehensive but was recommended to us by the bride of the wedding we were to attend. However, due to ongoing refurbishment all 8 of our party were given very comfortable, clean and bright accommodation. We stayed here as it was the only 'hotel' near the wedding venue of Lynford Hall. How they get away with calling it a hotel I do not know. The room was small, the bed was not full sized and kept us awake all night as I am sure there were only springs in the matress!. The shower had no... more

We stayed at this hotel as it is the closest hotel to local wedding venue - and don't they know it!! A large group of us booked several of the rooms at 69.00 per night. This "hotel" is actually a glorified guest house which does not have the charm to charge hotel prices. We were running late for the wedding... more
