We stayed at the Duke's Head over a very wet weekend in November. Our Standard Double lacked the character of the posher, more expensive rooms at the front of the hotel but had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style. We didn't try the cooked but the 'continental' was very good although the teapot for... More

Stayed here for a weekend away. Booked a suite in the older part of the hotel. Plenty of room nicely furnished all in all high quality. Odd to have plastic glasses in bathroom but these were readily replaced. Breakfast also good quality. The hotel is well positioned to explore the town and head out for a drive along the coast.... We booked a weekend break ; the hotel was ideally situated for touring North Norfolk. We were made to feel welcome and valued from the moment we arrived; check-in process was seamless. Our spacious double room in the newer part of the hotel and couldn't be faulted. Public areas were well maintained with a pleasant ambience. If there was a... More

Stayed at the hotel last weekend for a friends wedding, booked a suite for my family as no family rooms available, on entering the room I found there was only enough beds for three, I rang down to the reception explained the situation and the young lady said that the issue would be rectified while we was enjoying the wedding... We stayed for a weekend break, and overall found the hotel a reasonable choice overall. The location, right on the Tuesday Market, is excellent as a base for exploring the town. Our room was a good size, very clean and had everything we needed for a short weekend break. The food, particularly at breakfast (buffet style) was good, if not... More

We went to the Duke's Head for our wedding anniversary and were impressed by both the hotel and its facilities. Given the special occasion the staff gave us an upgrade and a lovely card and bouquet! impeccable room and bathroom, good toiletries, quiet, well located.

The Turners restaurant was fantastic, sadly the hotel is let down by the front desk (reception) staff. The hotels plumbing is also terrible. House keeping also very poor standard. All the bathroom fittings were either loose or falling off. The mattress on the bed needed replacing. Overall the hotels only redeeming feature is the restaurant and its wonderful staff, they... This hotel is ideally situated in the Tuesday market square near to the town centre, ideal for the bus and rail stations, it has free limited parking at the rear. We stayed for 2 nights in the newer part of the hotel, the room was freshly decorated, very clean, above-average size, with a flat screen tv on the wall, free... More

Paid £65 for one night in a small double room (very small!). Got what we paid for to be fair. Clean room, easy check in. When we pulled into the car park we thought we were in the wrong place as it looked nothing like the picture. It looked like a multi storey car park. You have to walk down... More
