Stayed here for my 30th birthday for 2 nights with 2 year old and a dog (!). The hotel is lovely and quiet, but we didn't feel uneasy bringing the toddler; there were other kids around. The room was in the garden area and was lovely and large, with nice bathroom, overlooking the gardens. The room was supposed to have... More

Some friend treated me to a Spa day and afternoon tea at Congham Hall and it was amazing. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming. They accomodated my dairy intolerance brilliantly and so I didn't feel left out with the lovely afternoon tea. My Mum and I decided to stay the night and had a beautiful room. Both dinner... More

This was a fairly random needle-in-the-map type of choice for a quick weekend away in North Norfolk. What a gorgeous surprise. It's a beautiful Georgian house converted into a hotel. Many of the original features (e.g. kitchen garden) remain and the ambience is lovely. The food is utterly fresh (salad leaf from the garden) and the spa is small but... More

Our Garden Club group had lunch here and a tour of the herb garden by Philip the Head Gardener. The lunch was delicious and beautiful, bright surroundings.Fresh herbs from the gardens complimented the dishes and decorated the tables. The staff were friendly and attentive. There will be many of us returning.

My family and I have just returned after another lovely stay at Congham. Lovely clean room, warm welcome and fab dinners. Big thank you to Julie and her super team. The spa was as good as the last visit, and the gardens have loads of space for the children to run around in.

I treated my husband to a retirement treat on a Sunday special. We were blessed with wonderful weather which added to to the serenity and peaceful setting. We opted for a more traditional room in the hall (Clover) which had a lovely bathroom and bedroom. The staff were friendly, the spa was wonderful and the food in the evening was... More

I booked to go to the hotel for myself and my husband and also for Christmas presents, one year in advance as there was a good rate on the website as I was booking so far in advance. 7 months after I booked the rooms I received an email from the hotel to say my bookings had been cancelled!! This... More

I usually set store by tripadvisor reviews but failed to on this occasion.however I should have done so because I must agree with many of the comments made about afternoon tea. The sandwich/ cake ratio was unbalanced( too much cake).the sandwiches were OK, the fillings varied but the bread was a bit dry.The mini sponge cakes were too dry and... More

I've been visiting Congham Hall & Spa for about 7 years now; and find all aspects of this spa hotel to be 1st class. I have a particular fondness for the lounge which has that rare tranquility that turns enjoying a pot of coffee or tea into a time to relax and de-stress. The level of service is always of... More

Spent two nights here for to celebrate our Silver wedding, couldn't fault the hotel, where we stayed in one of the garden rooms, lovely room, great food and super service. The spa was very, very quiet which was a little concerning bug as the other guests seemed of the older generation, I suppose they just didn't want to use this... More
