We wanted to visit the annual Flower Parade in Spalding, Lincolnshire at short notice. The hotels in and around Spalding were fully booked and this hotel was about 25 miles away and had a 4-nights-for-3 deal. The room was very comfortable. The meals in the a-la-carte restaurant were about £25 which was more than we wanted to pay but at... more

Things got off to a shaky start when having had a warm welcome at reception I opened the door of my room to the distinct aroma of stale tobacco. A return to reception and complaint was met with a swift apology and change to a non smoking alternative. The new room was spacious with a firm bed, reasonable desk and... more

We stayed here for a nice relaxing night after a mad weekend away. Got a very reasonable room only rate, worth looking around for best rates. The hotel is one of the strangest layouts i have ever seen. It is divided into a number of different buildings so its easy to get lost! We had booked a "courtyard view" superior... more

Stayed here for one night for a £68 B+B Goverment rate, having stayed here previously. It is a large comfortable BW hotel with good quality rooms. However, this time we were accommodated in the courtyard- which looks fairly grim from the outside, although the rooms are just as good as in the main block. I was concerned about being placed... more

This is a really nice hotel with kind, pleasant and happy staff who are pleased to make sure guests have a good stay. There are a range of rooms at different prices and after looking around, all we found were pleasant and good value. Some are excellent. The hotel is situated outside Kings Lynn and easy to find on the... more

We stayed on a Sunday night, as they had a special offer to include the evening meal. Apparently Sunday`s tend to be quiet - which suited us perfectly. The evening meal was absolutely delicious, the best we have had for a long time. We had to wait a while between courses, but it was well worth it. Additionally, all the... more

We booked a two day break as a present to our daughters so specifically booked a hotel with an indoor swimming pool. When we asked on check-in where the pool was, we were told "It's out of action". We were given two rooms in the courtyard. My daughters' room stank of cigarette smoke - the smell was so bad that... more

I come to King's Lynn for work at least once or twice a year and I always stay at the Knight's Hill. My previous stay was in March 2006 (for 1 1/2 weeks) and before that July 2005 (for 3 weeks). I stay in the new part on the second floor and I have never been disapointed. The rooms are... more
