First if you find it hard climbing stairs remember to ask for a lower room, it is after all an old home, don't cjomplsin on arrival if you didn't ask. but stunning. Both Jane and Taz have something to be proud of , even Cramer the cat. Everything was there to ask for, the cleanliness, the excellent food, thanks to... More

My husband and I spent a night at The Grange recently during a tour of the UK. Unfortunately we only stayed for the one night, but we couldn't have asked for a lovelier hotel, a more enthusiastic obliging hostess & fantastic guests on the day. The town itself is delightful and full of history. The hotel is in a very... More

We are from South Australia and travelling round Uk for two months. We stumbled on the GRange after a long days drive, were made welcome from the start. It does not have wonderf field and views around, but the hosts Taz and Jane made up for it. We had dinner which was simple but beautifully cooked. A perfect srop of... More

This is not your premier inn or Travelodge, because it is unique! Great fun, very comfortable and most of all very friendly. We stayed as a group of 4 and had dinner there too. The food and wine rounded off a great day.

The Grange Hotel in King’s Lynn is the most interesting hotel we have stayed in recently. It would be worth a visit just to enjoy the magnificent staircase and mahogany doors everywhere, but it is the warm welcome and good food that are even more important. We were greeted by Jane Verma, a friendly Australian who has run the hotel... More

OK...this place is unlikely to feature in House and Garden as it has a pretty eclectic feel to the place. The building is lovely and lots of original features, which is great. I arrived late due to foul weather and the usual issues with useless Norfolk roads, however Jane was there to welcome me and take me up to my... More

A friend and I stayed for a week using Kings Lynn as a base for travelling around North Norfolk. Both rooms we had were really comfortable, not lavish but well looked after, clean and efficient. The breakfast was really well cooked and we ate dinner in the restaurant on two evenings. Our compliments to the chef as the cooking was... More

This is our second visit to this wonderful Edwardian hotel with our chocolate Labrador. The warm hospitality provided by Jane and Taz were second to none which includes Craymer the Cat. Lovely touches like a jug of fresh milk for the tea/coffee in the room, chocolate bars as well as biscuits in the room, manuka honey and Vegemite in addition... More
