Head and shoulders above anything else that the town can offer for both accommodation and food. The hotel is very tastefully decorated, staff very welcoming and friendly and the food excellent. Stayed for two nights and well worth it to explore surrounding norfolk coast etc. The bath room was very good - spacious and bed very comfortable. My only suggestions... More

A little hidden gem of King's Lynn, for fine food and drink. It's located in a wonderful location, with fantastic scenic views. If you're on a date, I would strongly suggesting taking your date here! The food is incredible and for a reasonable price. The only issue is the parking. Parking outside the hotel is limited, you could be lucky... More

First visit to Kings Lynn and there's lots of interesting history to be had in the old quarter. Further back from the river there's the usual chain stores along a typical 60's town centre. Best to ignore that and concentrate on the picturesque river frontage. Bank House which is at the heart of the historic quarter is very definitely the... More

Stayed in a cozy room on the second floor which I found to be very comfortable. The decor is stylish and bright the room was very clean and warm. The bed was good with a view out off two windows over the river. I had dinner in the restaurant with a couple of local ales for £25 which was good... More

We booked a table for 12 people for a family celebration, the food was very tasty, staff attentive, the whole atmosphere was very relaxed and made a perfect meal out. We had a Sunday lunch where we had ordered the joints of meat and we carved these at the table which made for a bit of fun and we could... More

We stay in King's Lynn frequently when visiting relatives and had never considered the bank house, as it is at the upper end of our budget. But recently, we took advantage of a half board deal for the price of the room - and we were glad we did. The hotel is a boutique hotel in a historic building with... More

First stay here. Nice hotel, quite boutique in appearance. Nice room, very bright and airy. Makes a change from some of the corporate gloom boxes I sometimes have to stay in. Friendly staff. Real ale in the bar, log fires. Fresh cooked scrambled egg, real bread for the toast. Easy walk to town centre, parking outside in public spaces. Would... More

The January deal (dinner, bed and breakfast) was amazingly good value. The food in the restaurant was really good - cocktails were included with dinner for no extra charge (on our DB&B deal!). The room was lovely, and the bed very comfortable. We couldn't stop smiling from the moment we put down our suitcase. The staff are extremely friendly and... More

Staff still working with high standards and good quality produce is used with all there meals and breakfast ,it was an absolute delight, once again I can only that the whole team and the Managers Michael... We had a lovely night out and meal at the very attractive Bank house. Wonderful menu, in fact it was difficult to choose! The food was attractive and delicious. With portions that didn't disappoint. Service was sharp and friendly. Company wasn't to shabby either! And the best gin martini I've had. So all in all, a night to remember.
