Loved the hotel. Staff were helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Nell room which was of a decent size and which overlooked the Ouse. Sitting up in bed and reading with the view of the Ouse in front of me was truly memorable. The hotel's restaurant and small bar does get very busy on Friday and Saturday evenings; I... More

The Bank House has only 11 rooms and has often been full when we have tried to book. It is very individual, quriky, and paying the extra for the Captain's Room or the Bathroom is well worth it. Staff are friendly and welcoming and the hotel is in a perfect location for walking along the river or wandering into town.... More

In a terrific location with lovely views of the river and Customs House square this is an ideal base to look at the historic centre of King's Lynn. We had two rooms both of which were excellent. We really enjoyed the Captain's Room, huge and tasteful with an even more huge bathroom. The smaller room was freshly decorated and cosy... More

We enjoyed our stay in Kings Lynn and this hotel was contributed a lot to our enjoyment. The room was good and the meals were all tasty and well cooked - I enjoyed the mixed sweet pepper side dish and the risotto especially. The hotel is an old building with lots of interesting features and patios for sitting out in... More

Went with family members who have not been before. I have eaten there on many occasions. They were really impressed as I was, with the lovely tasty seasonal food. Service was great. Was able to sit outside after the meal with drinks to take advantage of the warm weather. Can't wait until we eat there again.

What can I say, I was absolutely bowled over with this venue. All the staff were kind and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. I booked 5 days in advance for a family birthday for a terminally ill relative. I was looking for the perfect venue with wheelchair access and a tempting vegetarian menu and I found it. We... More

The hotel is in a beautiful old building in the old part of Kings Lynn. Our room was at the top of the house and had great views. The hotel is lovely and quirky in layout. Our bedroom was really comfortable with old beams in the roof and a large, very comfortable bed. The staff were always friendly and helpful... More

I stayed two nights here and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The beds were one of the best parts - soft and cozy and gave me a great night's sleep. The room and bathroom were enormous (it was a "larger double" I think) and very clean, the decorations rather sumptuous in a shabby-chic manner. The hotel's location couldn't have been more convenient.... More

We had booked a table and on arrival found the restaurant very busy and quite noisy. Seated at our table the menus were presented. A fairly good choice from burgers to fish but nothing really took my fancy. In all I thought the food to be just OK, nothing special. However, the staff were friendly and efficient. The view from... Called in for a drink and decided to stay for a meal. Lovely bar area nicely decorated with a lovely ambience. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We only had a main course and a bottle of wine, reasonable price, well presented and very good. Would definately return, live locally so have not stayed here.
