This was the second time that we had stayed as guests in Babs and Simon's wonderful home, and our second visit was even more wonderful and relaxing than the first! On the basis of our first stay (October 2015) we booked to spend our honeymoon weekend at Sloley Hall, and could not have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing... More

Wow is too simple a word to describe this experience. From arrival on a crisp evening with a perfect view of the stars to departure the next morning we felt part of some thing special. The property is a major part of this but the hosts are the icing on a particularly rich and inviting cake. We felt looked after... More

Highly recommended if you want spacious, comfortable and attractive accomodation with attentive and charming hosts. We much enjoyed the barrel vaulted roof room. Travel to Norwich by train was easy and there are good pubs in the vicinity.

We have spent a wonderful weekend at Sloley Hall, a stunning Georgian Hall in the middle of beautiful countryside. Babs and Simon were so friendly and accommodating and could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. The Barrel Room is beautiful - so quiet - and the breakfast in the dining room was such a treat; vegan/veggies are... More

What an amazing stay we have just enjoyed at Sloley Hall. Simon and Babs were perfectly charming hosts. The barrel room was supremely comfortable with the most delicious 4 poster bed with quality mattress and feather pillows, we had the best night's sleep in weeks! With a private bathroom across the hallway, bathrobes, fluffy towels and tea/coffee making facilities (with... More

Just got home after another fabulous stay at Sloley Hall, think this might just be my new favourite place. Simon and Babs are just delightful and it really does feel like home away from home, fire's lit on arrival, considering the place is so huge it really is cosy. We stayed in the Barrel room with the kids staying it... More

An Aussie friend from school days and I stayed one night at Sloley Hall on May 28th, leaving with great reluctance. We were given such a warm welcome; Babs and Simon live in stately splendour but are so charming, easy to talk to and keen to please - and in addition have created a delightful home for their visitors. We... More

Babs and Simon are a delight, warm and friendly with plenty of interesting stories. Sloley Hall is a beautiful house set in tranquil surroundings. We were in the Barrel Room overlooking the front of the house. Loved the atmosphere and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

What a wonderful home. As I arrived I was greeted by Simon and offered to have my luggage carried to the beautiful " yellow " room. So spacious. There is a cosy living room for guests on the main floor with several touristic publications if one wishes truly to explore Norfolk. I have had a restful night in such a... More

As I write this I am missing Sloley Hall and Simon and Babs and Max. It really is the most perfect, wonderful place to stay and I can understand the other local reviewer who says he wants to find another excuse to stay there! It really is a lovely country house and although big and grand it really feels like... More
