We've stayed here many times, and unfortunately due to the tidal surge of December 2013, the hotel suffered extensive damage. This forced its closure until June of this year. Well, now back open. We saw all new carpets, beds and furniture in our room. The bar is much improved. A nice comfy sofa in there now. Staff as friendly as... More

Spent a week in blakeney and this was by far the worst place we visited...went for lunch on one of the busiest August weeks of the year, it was empty and we soon realised why. The dining area at the front is soulless, scruffy and without character, tables were dirty and the whole place looked dingy cheap and nasty. Food... More

Since the December floods, Many of the rooms have been newly decorated with new furniture and lovely big beds a great improvement. The bedrooms looked lovely and clean and fresh. The restaurant, bar and reception area all have had a makeover too. The bar was much more spacious with tables overlooking the marshes from the lovely big windows. We have... More

We came here just to scout out a place for dinner, but were fairly put off so only stayed for a drink. The views from small front garden are pretty spectacular and perfect to catch a sunset. The interior itself was pretty dire, it just looks incredibly cheap and there doesn't appear to be enough furniture; while I like the... More

This was our first visit after the floods and it is good to see the hotel back on its feet. The room was large but basic as with the food portions! However the hotel is obviously catering for the older dog owner now - my wife is in her mid fifties and really felt the baby! If you don't like... More

We ate here last year , which was good , but after our recent visit , it appeared the portion sizes have increased. The steak and kidney pudding was huge , and tasty ,as also was the wild boar and choritzo burger , which was also very good. We came with our dog and ate in the bar . to... More

We have stayed here previously and the refurbishment after the floods has improved the look of the place. Staff were very obliging and our constantly hot radiators were attended to quickly. The food is excellent and varied, we stayed 4 nights and there was a good choice every evening. Breakfast was well cooked. The hotel is so well situated for... More

Stayed here for two night break. Food is good, menu well varied and quickly served. Staff in the dining room are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed linen and towels were fresh and crisp. Everything was fine until the last minute. When settling the bill the receptionist showed no interest in...
