Finally managed to stay here for 5 nights, after staying in various holiday cottages over the yrs. This was due to the kings Arms accommodation being fully booked up. We always ate & drank here previously, so we knew the food & real ales etc were excellent. This is a traditional 'Proper Pub', that has a friendly feel to it,... More

We know the north Norfolk coast quite well and had stayed elsewhere in Blakeney before. Then (about 3 years ago) we'd eaten in the Kings Arms every night - they had the best veggie food in the village, and it was very good. There were no double rooms left when I booked this time so we stayed in the 'Pub... More

Really enjoyed our night here, by the time we arrived we were really hungry and the bar meal was excellent, the portions huge...a nice quiet night's stay with a good breakfast before we left to explore Norfolk further, the beer was pretty good too :)

This pub is like a breath of fresh air in this area, it's still a proper pub serving good beer, excellent food at sensible prices. So many of the pubs on the lovely north Norfolk Coast are now really restaurants masquerading as pubs where you are not really welcome if you are not eating! At the Kings Arms all customers... More

I have been going to to this pub for years on my one or two yearly visits to Norfolk. What particularly interests me is the fact that the pub is owned by Marjorie Davies, who used to be a West End dancer and singer, and managed by her son Nic. Marjorie ran the pub with her Husband Howard until he... More

We had lunch here this weekend. It was ok for a lunch, as we we're not in there for long, but wouldn't have liked to have a meal in there. Very cramped and a bit clostrophobic. One person serving so a bit of a wait to be served but food was nice.

I ordered beef lasagne and chips, my guests ordered cod and chips. This was yesterday - 20 April 2014. The chips were powdery, tasteless oven chips. The peas were cold. Overall, the food was bland and tasteless. I won't be eating there again.

First time visiting the King's Arms for some time, and certainly since the recent flooding. Glad to see that the character and charm has not been destroyed in the refurbishment, and lick of paint has certainly brightened it up. Service at the bar was quick, efficient and very friendly. We ordered drinks and mulled over the extensive menu and specials... More

This place suffered badly from the December sea surge/floods..they've had a tough time but if you re-open you have to be ready. We have never eaten here before but if this is their standard, we never will again and thank heavens it was only tea. They advertise Afternoon Cream Teas. We had 2 older relatives and thought we would give... More

As our usual hotel along the quay had been flood damaged, we stayed a night here instead. We had Room 4. Comfortable bed, but room was basic. Everything was there you needed though. The pub downstairs does wonderful menu, the usual bar menu and the specials board. We've never had a bad meal there over the years. The staff are... More
