We have stayed at this classic English hotel a couple of times in the past and have always found the proprietors warm and inviting. The surrounding grounds are clearly carefully tended (I would guess by a professional) and the fountain in the front lawn adds to the calming aura. This was an excellent place to stay. The breakfast was great, as previous reviewer I loved the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. My husband had full English every day and the ingredients were all locally sourced. Nothing was too much trouble for Brenda. We felt very comfortable in the house. Can highly recommend this B&B. It is in a really pretty Suffolk village right in the middle of Constable Country and handy for everywhere.
