Six of us plus a 14 month old child had a wonderful lunch. The staff could not have been more charming, seemingly unfazed by the amount of food under the highchair, and attentive without smothering. The food was simple in an Indian Fusion sort of way and simply delicious. The portions did not make you look for the way out,... More

We stayed in a first floor feature room with a balcomy overlooking the weir - definitely worth the extra money for a nice view and bigger room. Staff were all great (except for the breakfast staff as has been mentioned numerous times before), and overall we really enjoyed our stay - we ate in Sindhu for dinner which was fantastic,... More

This hotel is in a great location, but their web site is very misleading on the promotion for an out of season booking and they seem to have a trust issue. We were attracted to 50% off promotion, we even managed to get half way through the booking, but then had an issue on the web site - this resulted... More

popped in for a snack having not visited for a few years! We wanted to sit looking at river perhaps as was nice day but although restaurant was empty we were still ushered into dark bar cubicle ! We ordered a couple of sandwiches and tea and were very disappointed at the standard of them! Rubbish bread and not enough... More

We stayed here last week- what a fabulous hotel and great location - right on the Thames with the lovely bridge and church alongside. The room we had was comfortable and the facilities were excellent. The one big let down was the breakfast service, especially on the Sunday morning. Slow would be an understatement!! We ordered toast on three occasions... More

We have just attended a valentine ball here. The location of this hotel is very idyllic. The staff were very attentive and very nice. The room was spotless and the dressing gowns and towels were very thick and comfortable. The food was lovely and the breakfast was very hot and tasty and I would recommend room service breakfast it was... More

This is a lovely location in a historic and picturesque town. I had a lovely view from my bedroom looking over the weir and the staff were very attentive. We had a business meeting and the room was good and the service very good. Two flaws - some of our party had problems finding the right temperature right in their... More
