I have stayed at this hotel before and it is OK - rooms reasonable though a little noisy, food not great. However, the staff seem to think this place is the Ritz and have an attitude and price to go with it. There are better priced and friendlier options in town. more

We stayed for 2 nights in early December, over a weekend. The hotel didn't appear that full. Our room was a "superior" room, in the old, main building, overlooking the garden and Thames. It was a well sized room, with a comfortable sitting area. The room had old-fashioned sash windows, so that the first night we got plenty of fresh... more

I am just confirming most of the comments that have gone before. I read the revues before booking but with a wedding I was attending in the near vicinity and the stay being for one night I took a chance. The room was newly refurbed and adequate, staff were freindly and the hotel was in a convenient position. I didn't... more

First time at this hotel, and chose it because of it's close proximity to Windsor. Booked it through Tesco clubcard vouchers. On arrival you could see it had been recently refurbished and despite it being on the main A4, this didn;t seem too much of a problem. Room, while not the biggest was clean and perfectly adequate. As the title... more

Stayed in this hotel for one night with my fiance, the room was ok but very small for two people, the main problem with this place was the staff at the main reception, twice during our stay the swipe card key failed to work so i took it back to the receptionist who seemed to have a real problem helping... more

I arrived very early (11am) and whist the room was not ready the receptionist checked with house keeping and told me that it would be available in 30 mins, which it was. The room was on the top floor and was bright and cool (even though the reception was very hot) with a recently refurbished bathroom. We didnt eat at... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel to take in a wedding in the area. My husband travels frequently on business and this is the hotel he uses so I had no hesitation in booking it. First impressions were that the room was decorated to an excellent standard. I believe they are recently refurbished and they have done a... more

I stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding, and was very pleased with my stay. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was helpfull and cheerfull! We were given directions to our room, which was clean, spacious and had a lovely view over the River Thames and a small balcony to sit on. The bed... more

The evening meal in the Blue River Cafe which was incuded in the price of the stay was definately the highlight of the stay.. The meal and service was first class. The club room we were put in was on the top... more
