Located in old city of Fribourg, really nice hotel.. small hotel only have (i think) 20 rooms.. the room is enough for 02 people, with comfortable beds,, but the bathroom especially the shower, its to small for me ( for people with 180 height ) because the shower is in the box and very small.. and they have a small... This was a last minute detour to Fribourg. I found this gem of a family owned hotel. Husband is chef. His wife, Catherine, could not have been any nicer. I had a small would on my hand which she immediately cleaned and bandaged. I definitely will stay again. And of course the little dog in the lobby made my day

Just spent a wonderful evening in the restaurant with my wife celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The food was divine, the staff incredibly attentive. At the end of the evening the chef was waiting to wish us a good evening and to congratulate us. Thoroughly recommend.

I have stayed in this hotel twice now (for a total of 3 weeks) whilst working in Fribourg and I love it. The rooms I have had have been clean, comfortable and of a good size. The staff are charming and so friendly, I have always been made to feel very welcome!

For some years, we have stayed at this hotel which has always been a blessing compared to other hotels in Friebourg. If you are willing to take a chance at the other hotels in town, do so and good luck!!.

Very overpriced for what it is. No public rooms or sitting areas. Restaurant closed for extended period. No notification of this in advance. Lighting in suite very poor - not able to read. Lovely old building; well restored and breakfast good.

I have stayed several times in Fribourg. As hotel availability was low and hence prices rather high, I selected this hotel based on the positive reviews. The room type I booked online, although confirmed, was not available and I had to choose between a Suite and a small single room. I chose the Suite because I had plans to return... More

This hotel is situated in the lower part of the city right next to the river, i.e. in an amazingly beautiful part of the old town with a beautiful view on the city and the surrounding area. The stuff was just great. Very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big too with a nice bathroom. The TV was... More

This hotel was immediately pleasant and welcoming and it continued thus throughout our stay. The conversion of a sixteenth century house is skilful and there are many appealing touches. Provision is of a high standard and service outstanding. Our room was described as a "petite suite" which is a bit of a misnomer: it was in fact a fair sized... More
