Staid for only one night and the comment with the monastery is spot on. Very spartan (but clean rooms) absolutely nothing to write home about. The breakfast is nice with the view over the lake but that was it.

Florian254 Thanks for your response on Tripadvisor. I believe the review was meant for the Sigtuna foundation/ Sigtunastiftelsen which is built like a monastery. Sigtunahöjden is situated further west of the Sigtuna foundation. You are very welcome here next time you come to Sigtuna!/Lotta More

Great location in the forest, overlooking lake, with a short walk down to it. Very nice modern open reception area, and restaurant. Rooms done out in nice decor, bedroom a little bit 'cozy' but not crazy small. Its a day spa too so nice gym, relax sauna/jacuzzi area (on deck) very impressive. Friendly staff, and now the BUT... we arrived... More

Thank you for your review. I am sorry that the fire alarm went off the night you were staying with us. Unfourtunately this time, due to a smoke machine on the dancefloor. For us safety always comes first and it is always important to handle and take proper actions. Thanks to your input we have gone through our rutines and... More

The room that I had and the look of the hotel is like a monastery. No television on the room, little bathroom. But the restaurant is very good! A lot of seminars. People are very frendly. Not that mush in the direct area, you need acar to go out.

WE had our wedding celebration at Sigtunahojden and they did an outstanding job with the flowers, rooms, and food. I cannot say enough about this hotel. Every time we have an opportunity to go, we stop by for a night, or for a meal! Love the setting overlooking the lake. Love the hot tubs, the bikes that they lend to... More

I had two nights here with fuld board. Hotel has great atmosphere. I love the photos and city names for meeting rooms. My room was nice as well. Food was okay but it took them a very long timr to serve 100 people.

Superb setting, very well managed, excellent kitchen, nice staff. The only downside is the rather spartan rooms.

This hotel situated on a hill top in the oldest town in Sweden, from the 11th century, has a fantastic restaurant with a view overlooking Lake Mälaren and the landscape beyond. The reason I stayed there was a course I had to attend. Sigtunahöjden is a conference hotel and it is situated about a 25 minutes taxi ride from Stockholm... More
