We arrived in Figueres by bus. The station is at the other side of town, but the center is small, so it didn't take very long to get to the hotel. The room we got was clearly a smoking room, while we had asked for a non smoking room. They had already given us another room and we only stayed... more
Hotel had excellent rooms, clean, air conditioned and with flat screen TV. Breakfast was not included in our price and didn't look that great. Eat in Ramblas at the Cafehotelparis far cheaper and better. The staff are disinterested but not unpleasant. It's not right in the city centre but I didn't find the walk too bad. Would stay there again. more
We didn't, and now we miss it. It was our first night in Spain after a few years, we were quite tired after the trip, had bad memories of Spanish dining, so just chose the tourist menu for EUR 18 to save time studying the offerings. We had a big room and a big bathroom and a balcony. The room was clean and attractive. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was extra but not that good. It was only a 10 min walk to the Dali Museum and shops. We enjoyed our stay there. more
We spent 2 nights at Trave - a room for 4 was really a suite - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Meticulously clean, comfortable and friendly, nice brekky. 5 minute walk into Figueres. Pool small but fine. Everything you would expect from a 3 star, nice family run place. more
I love this hotel. After staying in trashy threadbare hotels that cost more than Trave. This was a welcome stay, in fact I stayed another day. My wife and me stayed there for one night just to visit Dali Museum in Figueras. They charged us ninetysomething euros for a just a correct and clean room.
