La Orotava is a small and quite town, and the hotel is the pearl of this town. The building looks like a little museum, with Maroccan or Alhambraic elements like сourtyard and fretwork. There are frescos of Maestro A.Otazzo in this hotel, and we were lucky to listen to the owner of this hotel who told us about this painter... More

A beautiful place to unwind and relax. Attentive and passionate service in tranquil surroundings. Fantastic views of Teide and the coast. Great central location in the heart of the old town Our 2nd visit and we will definately be back.

In a quiet street away from the most of the old town, this is a beautiful 18th century house converted into a welcoming small hotel. The house has been lovingly restored; the decor is fascinating, though the modern paintings of a painter with local roots won't be to everyone's taste. Our room was a delight with views over the coast... More

My wife and myself were spending a couple of days in the North of the Island and we selected this hotel following the reviews on trip advisor. My were we surprised when we saw the beauty of the place! We were greeted by a lovely young lady who spoke more than passable English, she showed us around the hotel and... More

we arrived at this hotel after booking out of another hotel in the area as sadly it had not lived up to it's name. The owner was most helpful and offered us the choice of two rooms. Both of which were beyond our expectation's. This family run hotel has all you need for a relaxing break with beautiful rooms, comfortable... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in October 2012. The building has an amazing atmosphere and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was very good. We particularly enjoyed all the rooms and spaces to sit when the weather was bad. We have recommended this hotel to our friends and family, and are hoping to visit again soon.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Alhambra, in La Orotava, in early March, 2013. This hotel was originally a private residence that was converted into a beautiful small hotel, with large rooms, enormous bathrooms, and charming public spaces on the ground and first floors, all beautifully furnished and immaculate. The breakfasts were copious, with a good selection of... More

The Alhambra hotel is one of the loveliest and most unusual we have ever stayed in; it is perfectly named as the interior of the old palace resembles the Alhambra in Grenada and is full of interesting works of art-a totally different world from the vast package tour hotels and apartments of the South and nearby Puerto de la Cruz....
