We stayed at the Parador for one night of our 10 nights stay in Tenerife. It was a truly lovely experience. the rooms were not luxurious but did us fine and were clean. The food was excellent, although the service at dinner was quite slow. Star gazing at night was amazing. The sun rise was a most amazing experience, brilliant. We... More

The Parador is in a stunning location, and gives you access to the park away from the crowds, including fabulous star gazing at night. As the only accommodation in the park, it's well worth considering. However, as a hotel it's distinctly average: fairly mediocre food and service by the standards elsewhere in the canaries; old- fashioned decor and layout (eg... More

The room was large and had mini bar and it was at the back of the building, overlooking the garden, and indoor swimming pool. which also had a gym and suna. our bathroom was also... More

We arrived late after descending the Teide walking for 6 hours. The parking of the Teleferico was closed but the friendly staff at the reception managed to call the nightwatchman and they even drove me to get my car and luggage. Perfect service! Later in the restaurant the service wasn't so good. Long waiting for menu, drinks and poor food.... More

We had promised ourselves a stay in this parador since our first visit to the Canadas del Teide. It's a great location for walking and cycling with fine views of Teide. Our superior double room was very comfortable and had an enclosed balcony where we could sit out of the wind and also watch the night sky without freezing. We... More

Enjoyed the Sunday lunch there after finding out the Teide cable car was closed. Great choice on the set menu. Supreme quality of food and the service was excellent. Patronage not good as very few diners. Could only be maintained at that level in a state subsidised hotel. Worth the experience. A contrast to the hot conditions outside.

I spent two nights at the Parador with my husband. We were looking for relaxing time away from everything, that's why I didn't mind there's no wifi in the room. Want to check emails and facebook? Go downstairs where there's a big area with couches and a fireplace really cozy to read enjoying a cold beer. We had dinner both... More

We stayed here on a trip with Tenerife Bike Training and it was the location that made me want to come. We stayed for 2 nights and were treated to the most fantastic views both during the day and at night, amazing star scenes. Hotel is very good with modern pleasant rooms and facilities. I can quite see why some... More

A dinner visit on trip to Teide National Park - food was ok and local but soup was cool and service a bit haphazard but fantastic location. A bit of work needed on catering front. Foyer was good with nice live fire and comfortable seating Not aware of bedrooms but hopefully match up with location

If I could I would give 3 1/2 stars. Probably slightly above average, but not as good as the several other Paradores I have stayed at which I would rate between 4 and 5. Location. Couple of km from the mount Teide cable car. If you want to see Teide and enjoy spending some time in the National Park, this... More
