Only dined here. The restaurant has been Michelen listed for a number of years and has a well deserved Trip Adviser Certificate of Excellence. The restaurant is in the glass covered central courtyard and you are surrounded by the tasteful elegance of an historic La Oratava villa. The chef is Scottish and the food is invariably excellent.

We spent three nights here in the suite (Room 201) and loved it! It was comfortable, clean, spacious and quite special having the wooden balcony all to ourselves. The hotel is in a very convenient location. The house of balconies is just around the corner. We could walk to other historical buildings, churches within 5-10 minutes. Service from the staff... A 17th century Canarian villa, built around a central courtyard. The courtyard now has a glass atrium which makes for a light and airy bar and restaurant. we stayed in one of the superior rooms at the rear of the hotel. The room was large with a ceiling in excess of 4 metres high. As we were at the rear... More

Loved our stay in this charming, historic and friendly hotel. We had Room 201, which is a large two-room suite with the balcony that features in many photos of the front of the building. Despite being by the road, traffic noise was not a problem. Parking can be a challenge, but we found a spot within three spaces of the... More

If you like food then you should have been already. Best food I have ever tasted with very good service as well. Really friendly hotel staff. Lovely clean rooms, ours had a view over the centre of Orotava (just a few streets away). This is true Orotava.

This is the Place in Orotawa. Great atmosphere, excellent Food, hospitable staff. They've got everything roght. We really enjoyed our stay - and will definitely be back, and next time we will bring more family members with us.

We really liked this hotel. The food is Michelin standard. The staff were really helpful when our car was towed away and got the fine waived. My only quibble is the "rural" in the hotel name as it is located in the centre of the historic town of Orotava. Jim Wintour London

We stayed here for 8 days end March / April. Hotel Victoria is a 14 roomed hotel, old fashioned and sedate which for us added to it's charm. It has a delightful inner courtyard with a bar; very good cuisine at lunch and dinner. Breakfasts absolutely fine. Our room did have a small en-suite but was perfectly adequate. Nice view.... More

This was a treat. Beautiful old building, well maintained and with excellent service and information from the staff. In addition to free WiFi there was also a PC and printer to use for free also. Breakfast had some good choices including fruit and yoghurts. The roof top terrace and views were stunning, but if you choose these rooms, you do... More

Having stayed in a lovely hotel in Santa Cruz we chose this place as had late availability. I'm really surprised at the other reviews here. Our room was fusty, old fashioned, grim old creaky mattress, worn carpet, wonky floor and walls, tiny shower designed for a dwarf. I'm sure that some other rooms must be better from the reviews on...
