I've stayed at the Monterey 3 times now and each time gets better. This time we took up the half board offer and loved the food available on site and did our best to eat our way through the entire menu, going back for our favourites. The entertainment was brilliant especially the Spanish night! The staff were all really friendly... More

just finishing a very enjoyable 2 weeks at Monterery. Issues with being too near the lift. My problem because my hearing is very acute. Spoke with Anita who was helpful, professional, courteous and very pleasant. She is certainly an asset to the company. She moved us to a quieter apartment with the minimum of fuss. Thank you, Anita. The staff,... More

Some people might not like the steep hill it's set on but the views are worth it. The animation girl Agata was really lovely, funny and helpful. We did have a couple of maintenance issues in our fantastic apartment but I'd hardly put the phone down and the repair staff were there. It's a very chilled out place. Having said... More

As Club La Costa members for over 12 years we have stayed at Monterey four times now. Also Paradise and Sunningdale on other occasions. We love Monterey despite the steep hill - its good exercise and we usually walk it twice a day. The views and sunsets are amazing. The complex may be built into a hill but the lifts... More

We stayed in Monteray Royale in a 1 bed apartment. The facilities were amazing. We had 2 bathrooms, a hot tub on the balcony and a Jacuzzi bath indoors too. Plenty of space for a 1 bedroom and a lovely view from the balcony. We were walking distance from the beach and shops (albeit a steep hill but good exercise).... More

We stayed here in summer 2014 as a family of 5. The resort is split into two with the Royale being the better half ( with hot tubs, modern decor, premium furniture and underground parking) and the Monterey its poorer brother on the opposite hill. The resort is clean and tidy with average facilities, my childfen did get bored with... More

Stayed at Monterey Royale for the first time having waited 2 years to get in. Very well equipped apartments with jacuzzi bath and own hot tub on the terrace. Full kitchen with washing machine etc. so you can fly with hand luggage and that is all you need. 2 very good swimming pools on site and 2 restaurants (1 pool... More

This is our first holiday for over 8 years last week, we enjoyed the apperment and the location, staff were friendly from the day time staff and the entertainment staff (Agata) and the evening staff were very welcoming and also friendly. We were close to swimming pool and the sunset restaurant as we were in B103

We stayed In E609 with views over the bay. The room was well equipped and comfortable. As the Monterey is built into a cliff face it required 3 lifts to access our apartment but we did not find this a problem. We are both pensioners and the only disadvantage we found was the hill back to the Monterey. We walked... More
