People can hardly speak english, hot buffet is cold and very basic. All extra are expensive. You Will like it if you like to be in the middle of nowhere. The worst is the staff at the reception being the most inefficient. But thanks to the weather, holidays were still great

I can't fault the hotel itself and the added bonus of a crèche gave us time to relax. The staff were fantastic and the rooms were spacious and modern, as were the hotel grounds. The only thing that would stop me going back is the fact that Playa Paraiso is quite a small and quiet resort, which is why we... More

Coming to the end of our sixth visit to the Roca Nivaria, and once again we have had a great holiday. Rooms very spacious and comfortable, staff are all very friendly. Food is excellent, with a choice wide enough to accommodate all tastes and requirements. We have recommended the hotel to friends who have themselves now returned three times, and... More

Big mistake choosing this hotel over our usual hotel which is the Sensatori, that is indeed what a 5* hotel should be, this hotel is a generous 3* hotel at best. Beds awful, in room facilities non existent, food utterly abysmal (I'm far from fussy), zero character or charm, no atmosphere during the day or friendly cheerful faces, absolutely nothing... More

We came to Roca Nivaria in April 2015. Overall we had a very nice stay. The hotel has many activities for kids and adults, and that's why we had selected it: 2 tennis courts, a paddle court, ping-pong, mini-golf, archery, beach volley,etc... Of course we loved the two beautiful pools, and the lovely gardens. The place is constantly cleaned and... More

Overall the price/quality ratio is nothing more than acceptable, sometimes one feels let down considering the price. Would I recommend this hotel? Yes, but with a few caveats. High quality hotel, recent, very pleasant, tasteful decoration, lush gardens. The clever architecture has made the hotel a succession of different levels each with nice ocean views and has given everywhere an... More

I have just been reading the negative reviews as I was surprised there would be any. It seems that people don't like being told they have to wear pants to the restaurant (Which is normal in most decent hotels) and the location. The hotel is located 10 mins in a taxi away from Las Americas and Fanabe in a place... More
