We stayed at the bouganville in march 09, this was our 5th visit ,and we are going back in jan 10, the hotel is clean ,and most of the staff are friendly, although the reception staff could do with a few lessons in customer service, the first time we went we got the complimentary drink , but not since. But... more

First time for us to stay at the Bourganville, although have popped in a few times over the years for a drink.Normally stay at our timeshare, but thought we would have a change as we had heard that, with the pound so low, eating and drinking out out would be very expensive.Check-in at the hotel was very quick.Rooms were furnished ok although... more

Stayed at Bouganville for a week in June-we are a family of 4 with children in early 20s. We found hotel to be very clean, rooms were spacious with 2 large twin beds. There was a small fridge in the room which we thought was good. Pool area was very clean with loads of sunbeds- some overlooked the sea but... more

Went here for a nice two week break looking for sun and chilling out with my 18 and 15 year old daughters and got exactly that. Hotel looks lovely, very spread out and loads of different areas/bars to check out but good as no area ever seemed overly busy. Sheets changed twice each week and if you wanted you can... more

Rooms spacious, staff good, food very poor for a 4* ! good location for water park, beach and shopping, lucky for us eating out wasn't that expensive, a fab wee bar just outside hotel called the Rabbit, the owner Duncan and his family are so nice, drinks and food really cheap. more

We visited from 8th May for one week, two familiesof four sharing three rooms as there were not rooms available that were big enough for parties of four, but that was no real inconvenience. We had emailed ahead & requested rooms together. The hotel replied saying they would do all they could to accommodate us.When we arrived we were allocated three adjacent rooms on... more

Booked a short break here for my elderly sister and myself (both now senior citizens) for six nights from 20th March, as sister has a memory problem I had emailed the hotel when booking to request two rooms close to one another but on arrival the two rooms couldn't be further apart on different floors which meant that we shared... more

We have been going to Las Americas for a number of years now, simply to get the sun and do nothing. Previously we have stayed at the big, Vistas beach end of the resort, in the very good 4* hotels there, good that is except for the Mediterranean Palace hotel ! This time we chose a different area and the... more

This is a nice hotel in a very good position but in all honestly 4 * is rather optimistic !3.5 would be nearer the mark. For a big hotel it is very quite, the corridors have carpet tiles down the middle and the area near the lifts is carpeted too. The room though are not - unlike the Iberostar Torviscas... more
