I stayed in Isabel Family during one week holiday on Tenerife island. Hotel consist of two main buildings and bugalows surrounding swimming pool all stylished on mediterranean village. The reception staff is very helpful and competent. The hotel is still under refurbishment but it concerns public areas and isn't much onerous. The closest fanabe beach is only 10 minutes walking... more

We booked through 'owners direct', a spanish travel agent has allocation on a few of the rooms and it is cheaper than going through Thomson. (315 euros per week, for up to 3 people) Flights were booked through Ryanair. As it was a good price we didn't have great expectations, we had looked at the property a few years ago,... more

We were met off the bus by a member of staff who brought in our bags. The reception was lovely, clean and airy. The hotel is being refurbished now and was being painted while we were there - they have a nightshift of decorators! This did not present an inconvenience, only showed how hard working the staff were and how... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 weeks self catering. On arrival, the staff were welcoming and helpful and pointed us in the direction of our room. The room was clean and comfortable and a nice size for the 2 of us with a good size lounge and kitchen area. We had a balcony overlooking the room and the... more

I was so very dubious about the place after reading all the reviews on here... but i was so pleasantly surprised! We were greeted by a very friendly Marco, who was extremely helpful, and pleasant. We had someone take our bags to the room. I had upgraded to a bungalow apartment, and we were overlooking the pool, on one of... more

We have just returned from our stay at this hotel. To summarise: Positives - Great if you have young children - toddler pool great, with playground nearby. Lots of outdoor space for them to run around in. Also kids club for 4-12 - our daughter is only 2.5 but she could have joined in if a parent went with her.... more

A real letdown from beginning to end. Room we were allocated was dark, dungeon like. Very Claustrophobic. No way could I even bring myself to close the door. The nearness of the other apartments shut out any natural light. Askd at reception if possible to be given a more suitable room - next one was even worse. To make things... more

It was the fourth year we have stayed here so when we were given a room in the darkest corner of the complex we asked for a move. The room was damp, cold and noisy. The hotel changed owners on the 1st Jan and is now called the isabel family hotel and is not a RIU hotel. Not a bad... more

We stayed here with my husband and 2 year old in February the weather was fantastic, not too hot for a toddler and pregnant woman and we found that overall this holiday catered very well for us. Beacuse it was so child friendly, i meant we could relax too, and we really enjoyed it here. The pool was lovely and... more
