This hotel is a very good one and a victim of it's own success. The building is in the "pueblo" style and in need of a freshen up in places, the hotel is quite exposed to the elements in many areas and will no doubt be cool in summer, but boy when the wind gets up its a fridge!! The claims of "sea... More

The staff were very friendly & helpful (glass of cava on arrival anyone?!), and our room was spotless. The only drawback was it was slightly noisy when the entertainment was on in the lobby bar. The hotel itself was clean & tidy although perhaps a little tired in places. The choice of food in the restaurant was vast and pretty... More

The building itself is a highlight - really nice architecture! Staff so friendly and helpful (lot of languages available), I really felt welcome on my first stay (for business). There is a beach club which not actually is at the beach, but on top of the cliffs so you're able to enjoy an awesome view over the atlantic ocean. The... More

Dated, dirty in places, thoroughly disorganised. No rail on any stairway. Staff seemed to be doing you a favour. Rooms are basic and badly need a refurb. Hallway carpet needs dumping on the rubbish tip! Breakfast is every man jack for themselves. Lighting basic needs updating, straight from the 1970's. TV works when it decides to, bad signal and tv... Having viewed this hotel from the coastal promenade and seen the location of the pool area overlooking the sea, we have always wanted to stay at the Jardin Tropical. So this year we decided to splash out. First class reception area, quite "posh" with a welcoming glass of cava but then it was almost all downhill. Beware Room 757. The... More

Selden been at a hotel where all the staff, from check in, to restaurant... was so friendly. They all tried to give there best. Beautifull pool area with sight on the see. Building is very nice, but needs a bit maintenance, breakfast is good, the restaurant where ok. There is a restaurant direkt near the water, beautiful spot, food not... More

Had a week at this Hotel returning on 8th March. Although the hotel is a little tired it is spotlessly clean. The food in the restaurant is fabulous with loads of choice. There is entertainment in the bar every night and the pool and staff are great. I would recommend this hotel which we booked through Thomson s and would... More

The reviews we read before booking this hotel were good and we usually find that a reliable indicator for deciding to book. Unfortunately our experience on this occasion didn't match the good reviews. On arrival, after checking in, we made our way to our room (no 438) on opening the door my wife and I looked at each other in... More

Dear guests, We thank you for taking the time to review our hotel during your passed stay. We really regret that your room did not meet your expectations. At this time the hotel was fully booked so that is why we had no chance to change you inmediatelly. For us all the guests are the same so I do regret... More

We stayed at The Jardin Tropical for a week at the beginning of March. This was our first time at this hotel, I had seen it on previous visits to the area and thought it looked like somewhere we should try on another trip. We have previously stayed at the Mediterranean Palace and the Arona Gran. We were greeted on... More

Our brilliant stay started off well with the most civilised check-in procedure I have ever experienced. There was no queue and we were plied with Cava, which was a stroke of genius after over 4 hours on the plane. We had booked bog-standard "mountain view" rooms, which were absolutely fine (7th floor). Sound insulation seems to be pretty good -... More
