Nice little hotel with very friendly and welcoming host. She gave some good recommendations for things to see and restaurants to go. No breakfast but enough nice places nearby (try the muesli in Cafe Diez). Our room was spacious and very clean with memory foam beds, for a good night sleep. One little thing: bathroom has a glass wall, including... More

We've had a great week at Hotel El Escondite del Viento. A modern, beautiful, small hotel in the center of the Old town of Tarifa. Located in a quiet street. Nice and clean rooms. Good Beds. Friendly staff. And every morning a delicious breakfast to start your day. Highly recommended if you're planning a holiday to Tarifa!

We visited Tarifa for the first time and we find the best amazing place El Escondite del Viento. The hotel is very well located, just in the center historic of Tarifa. The staff is excellent and helpful, we feel like an familiar atmosphere, they always welcome us. Our room was located in the roof, with a fantastic view for the... More

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. Service is very friendly. The location is charming. Next to Tarifa's cafes and lovely cobbled streets. We have stayed at El Escondite del Viento twice. Once with kids and once without. At both occassions we have been very happy with the hotel and the service we have received there.

We had a fabulous stay at El Escondita del Viento. We arrived late at night to Tarifa with no accommodation booked, we were directed here from another hotel...and despite arriving at nearly 10pm, Alejandre couldn't have been more welcoming. As it turned out, her friendliness, warmth and air of calmness are traits that permeate the hotel itself! We got lots... More

We loved staying at this hotel. Alejandre was so welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and we thought the bed was very comfortable. We had one of the attic rooms, and although it was too windy for most of our visit to sit on our terrace, when we did have the opportunity we enjoyed it. Location is perfect. The... More

The hotel is in the historic center of Tarifa and if you come by car it's easy to park outside in a public parking. The house and the rooms are well designed. We stayed in the terasse room and for next season I suggest to renew some part like for instance the shower tube or the furniture on the terasse.... More

My husband and I had a very rare night on our own whilst we left our children in the safe hands of their grandparents. Alexandria gave us a very warm, friendly welcome. The hotel is a hidden gem amongst the maze of Tarifa's alley ways. 2 mins walk from the nearest shops and restaurants. The decor was very modern with... More
