Me and my mate spent one night at this place on our way to marocco. 18th place on tripadvisior and "hostel" made me sceptical. But I was wrong! Great location, clean and nice rooms. Little small rooms though but we didnt mind. Price was friendly aswell. Next time i will stay in tarifa im going to stay here for sure.

We have stayed here for 3 nights. Location is great, very central and with a great atmosphere. Rooms were a lovely size and very clean. Basic but great value for money. Don't be fooled by the word "HOSTAL" in the name as this has all the commodities of a 3 star hotel. Nice clean and does the job as i... More

We stayed in this hotel mainly b/c we were planning a day trip to Tangier, Morocco, and wanted to stay in Spain both the night before and after. For the most part, we were happy with our stay. The hotel was literally right across the street from the ferry terminal, and there was a restaurant downstairs with decently-priced food. The... More

Each guest may have only one tiny cup of coffee from the machine in reception. I was told that is the rule. The coffee sachets are kept locked away and when I was refused a refill I felt like Oliver Twist. And bring a bottle of drinking water because that won't be replenished in the room. Anyway, for €35 my... More

I stayed here several years ago, but I think that time I was in a more modern part of the hotel, the rooms were much nicer, that said this time the room was warm, comfortable and very clean, the only issue was the lack of a lift. the Guy on Reception was attentive and very helpful

We stayed here the night before catching the Tangier ferry. We were on the first floor of the annexe and there was a lift, unlike in the main building. The room was comfortable and quiet, but unfortunately it failed the "hairs in the shower" test. Apart from its location, right next to the port and the old town, I'm not... More

The hotel is clean and well situated, extremely close to the ferry as advertised, and also close to a number of decent if somewhat overpriced restaurants on Paseo Alameda. There is a restaurant in the hotel that was doing a good business at the time we arrived, though prices in this area seem more or less uniform. We had a... More

A neat and clean little hotel, close to the old town. the room was quite ok, and those who keep the room tidy and clean, was top class. English skills were not good, so you have to be careful with the order of the room. a perfect starting point for trips and short distance to the beach, surfing, and shopping.... More

My 17 year old son and I were here from June 19 - 21 during our 6th two week summer vacation in Europe. We were here solely for a day trip to Tangier. I picked this hostal because of its location (100 M to the ferry dock). The reception was friendly enough. Our room was in the new annex. It... More

The hostel is as close as you can get to the ferry terminal, i.e about 30 meters and is great as a stepping stone for Morocco, which we did. The hostel is nicely decorated and the rooms small but adequate. It is clean and friendly and on the edge of the medina with lots of bars and restaurants in the... More
