We wondered why this hotel has so many rave reviews yet it only has one star. I guess that is because it doesn’t have a restaurant for most of the year, preferring to hand out breakfast vouchers to guests to use in nearby cafes. With only a handful of rooms (14), this probably makes economic sense to the management. There... More

We were six Americans and one Spanish friend spending a night in Tarifa before catching a ferry to Morocco the next day for a tour of Tangier. I found Hotel Misiana through Trip Advisor and we could not have been happier. It has a wonderful location in the old town, just a couple of blocks from the port where we... More

Thank you! As we are the nearest port to Morocco, we have many guests that get surprised about Tarifa when staying staying here. Maybe next time you'll come time enough to discover and to enjoy the paradise that Tarifa is. Our best wishes More

We booked the suite of the hotel for a 2 night break. Although the room was smaller then I expected it was stylishly decorated with large flat screen tv and large roof terrace with amazing views of the town. Great location just a minutes walk from the old church, bars and restaurants. The manager was very friendly and helpful, and... More

Like other reviewers we were in town for one night, I did a quick Trip Advisor search and chose this hotel based on other reviews. It totally lived up to the recommendations. The front desk staff was very warm and gracious. The decor modern and comfortable. The location was right in the heart of the old town and there were... More

We stayed here for one night on a short trip to Tarifa & it was great - highly recommend. We got there early & were allowed to check in early, free parking for our hire car, hotel was clean & room was spotless. Looks like someone has really taken care of the place, driftwood sculptures, light decor, really friendly staff.... More

Our stay with at the Misiana was actually purely by chance. We always planned to stay in Tarifa for 1 night on our tour down along coast but, as we sometimes do, we were making it up as we went along and turned up with no prior booking in place. We popped into the reception to see if they had... More

Sent via tourist office. Hotel within old city walls. Wonderful helpful receptionist who really made our stay special. Advised on all matters including sore eye! - surfer beach café - truly memorable time there looking out on the Atlantic waves. Explored Tarifa castle and streets. Hotel well located and central. Lovely clean room with tea making tray. Great views to... More

Stayed 1 night here and another in its other building in town. The main building is very cute and its located on the street. The rooms are interesting, clean and restfull. But I have to say I prefer the 2nd location which is a 2 minute walk away. This is on a lovely little square with a couple of restaurants... More

The weather changed our plans and we ended up in Tarifa for 3 nights. We found this hotel by chance and were delighted. The staff are utterly good natured, friendly, very helpful and speak far better English than my Spanish! Hotel Misiana is in an excellent location in Tarifa, just a ten minute walk to the ferry and in the heart of old town next to restaurants, shops and attractions.
