Our family room was on the first floor overlooking the little street below. We loved the location and even though there are small bars and restaurants close by we didn't find noise to be a problem at all. The room was full of character and fairly basic but it was clean and well kept. We only stayed one night prior... More

Convenient to all in old Tarifa, simple rooms were clean and comfortable. No AC, TV, or other comforts in our room, but note price significantly less than modern hotels. We were happy with our stay before and after day trip to Tangiers. Front desk staff very friendly.

Stayed here last December. Loved it! My room was awesome! The bathroom was across from it. Had a nice Spanish feel to it. The man at the desk was very helpful, and booked taxis for me to go horseback riding. WIFI worked really well. The location is right near the center, easy to walk to in order to get a... More

We thought we had reserved a room, with shared bathroom, and ended up with a huge room with private bathroom in a charming little place for a very reasonable price. The hotel is located within the old town of Tarifa, near the port, main attractions and interesting restaurants. The hotel is clearly not new, so be prepared to see older... More

This place definitely won the award for most charming and 'old-world' feeling of our trip! Good location close to shops and restaurants (although close to a church as well - bells ring through the night, bring earplugs!) Also within walking distance of Tangiers ferry/bus stops. The room was small and basic but clean. Owners very friendly. However I would recommend... More

The old town of Tarifa is a very picturesque place, and this is an ideal, and great value, base to see it. Friendly staff too. This is not a 5-star hotel, but not does it claim to be. It was clean and tidy, and an easy walk to some fantastic restaurants, as well as the ferry. We wetter starting on... More

A great little place by the church in the old town. Really enjoyed the time we spent here and the buzzing atmosphere in the town. Nice accomadation, simple, clean, great value and homely. Friendly staff, perfect location for enjoying the quirky town of Tarifa. Will definitely be going back again.

Luckily, I only spent one night in this pension. First, some premises: 1. my review is only based on the particular room I was given (n°2) 2. I am not at all a fussy traveller 3. I am deeply sorry to write a negative review since the owner is Italian but really I can't help it. The room was old,... More

I am very sorry that you didn't like your stay here. I rent that room everyday, and people don't complain. The room is not old, it's the house that is old, 1000 year they say, this is not a new hotel, and i want to respect the old moorish architecture of the building, i don't want to transform this little... Had a room at the front. Smelt damp. Very very noisy. Went quiet around 1.30. Hot room. No air con and couldn't open windows due to noise. Not great when you have kids. Smallest bathroom I ve ever seen. Clean towels and bedding.

This was the third time I've stayed here and love coming back. Luca, the owner, is so friendly and helpful and always makes us feel welcome. The rooms are very very clean and comfortable and the position in the heart of the medina can't be beaten. Thanks for another great stay and I look forward to returning :))
