This is a hotel in very nice gardens and friendly staff. The rooms are a good size but very basically furnished with pretty well worn furniture. Our toilet seat was loose and slipped when sat on and, the door to the room rattled so badly with the wind that we did not sleep until we wedged a hefty paper in... More

This place was peaceful, quaint and child-friendly which suited us perfectly. The beach is about a 20-minute walk away but you have to negotiate across a very busy/dangerous stretch of road. Once on the other side it's a pleasant walk/cycle to Punta Paloma beach. I always prefer self-catering and as there are no restaurants close-by it is the best option. There... More

Me my wife and 2 dogs stayed for 5 days in January. The room was basic, clean, kitchenette was sufficient and the log burner was a great added bonus. The grounds were lovely and the staff really friendly even though we spoke no Spanish and they spoke no English but no probs. All in all we had a great stay.... More

This small and cozy hotel is really near the beautiful surfer´s beach Punta Paloma. Extremely quiet and pleasant, and away from cars and tourist noise. Mountains in the back, sea in the front. Typical andalusian white house style, rooms facing a stone cobbled patio. Available horse riding, tennis and a nice and clean pool. Excellent for practicing sports, including mountain... More

My family & I spent 2 weeks in what is a well located hotel - its only 2 minutes from the excellent beach. But the stay was spoiled by insects - wasps & ants in the rooms and the poor staff. The general feeling was that the hotel guests were a necessary irration. It was poor value for money and one... More

Just spent 4 very pleasant days at Cortijo Las Piñas. The rooms are simple but nicely furnished. It is pleasant to have a small but adequately equipped kitchen included. The bathroom is excellent with plenty of hot water at any time of day or night. Daily cleaning excellent. The staff friendly and efficient. The situation (a very short ride from... More
