After reading some of the reviews I was concerned about my reservation, but I have to say, THIS HOTEL IS FANTASTIC! Very large, comfortable, (brand new?) bed. Very large bedroom. Huge bathroom. Huge balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean. Stunning location. Free parking directly at the hotel. In-room kettle, mugs, teabags, sugar. In-room fridge. Fabulous looking pool - we did not... We traveled with a group. The reception was professional, the rooms are unique, swimming pool and relaxation options are available. The hotel facilities are located on either side of the road. There is a pedestrian tunnel allowing guests to 'cross' the street safely. The staff is efficient, attentive and friendly. The restaurant is a gem and the food served is of... More

Stayed in April to attend a family gathering. Our room was very nice, comfortable and spacious, clean and certainly no damp bedding. The bathroom was very large. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows. We were on the side of the road where the main swimming pool, restaurant and reception is in the main hotel building. Breakfasts are... More

I stayed here for a whale-watching trip to Tarifa, and sight-seeing in the surrounding region. The hotel is a bit remote (although on a major road / highway), but that is not an issue with proper planning. There is a restaurant for breakfast and dinner, I did not eat there though. Despite the frequently used road, I had a very... More

We felt the hotel was dated and the fact that the bed sheets in our room were extremely damp, didn't help. We asked to be moved to another room, but unfortunately it also had damp sheets. We were then told that all the rooms were like this! We tried to eat in Tarifa but spent 90 minutes trying to find... More

Love staying at this 3* [but worthy of more] hotel. Always a friendly, professional welcome in a beautifully decorated reception/lounge area. The unusual [for Spain] mix of modern & traditional décor add to the ambiance. The colour scheme continues through the public areas to the well appointed and spacious bedrooms. These not only have air-con but radiators in the bathrooms.... More

If you're looking for a friendly wedding venue this is it. The food's great, the staff are really cheerful and professional, and the atmosphere is perfect. I'm always surprised at the lengths they go to to accommodate their guests. I thoroughly recommend it.

Since our last visit he hotel has been fully renovated with double glazing throughout but with all the historic features retained. Our room had a nice balcony which faced towards Africa rather than the adjoining main road. We had dinner at the hotel and I enjoyed very nice fish soup followed by a fish kebab. The wine list was very... More

The property sits on both sides of a very, very busy highway. I would be hesitant to stay here if I had small children. Their is parking on both sides of the highway with a passage that (thankfully) goes under the highway. My husband and I stayed for two nights in room 122. I asked for a view of Africa,... More
