We came here for 10 days of kitesurfing and rest. It is lovely here. You don't feel you are in a hotel. Everything is very tastefully presented, and spotless. Much attention to detail. Nice garden with shady spots for reading. A short walk to the beach, and 2-3 min drive to the centre of Tarifa (20 min walk). The young... More

We have stayed at several hotels in Tarifa in the past years. We stayed at Dos Mares, Hurricane, Punta Sur and now Cortijo el Pozuelo. This place just feels like home. Its on the beach side. The price for the rooms is amazing, less expensive than any of the other hotels we stayed at yet the rooms are much much... More

We chose this B&B because of the location and previous reviews on TripAdvisor. We decided to base ourselves here for the first five nights of a spring Birdwatch because of its locality to the majority of sites around the coast of Andalucia. The accommodation was just as we had hoped and as advertised. The room was quaint and furnished in... More

If you are looking for somewhere to get away from it all and relax this is the place for you. We received a very warm welcome from Irena and were shown to our room which had a lovely separate sitting area and was cool in temperature. The traditional cortijo had ample parking and several areas to sit in the garden.... More

This cozy family owned hotel was absolutely surprising. Well decorated rooms with Andalusian flair, friendly owner and gorgeous location. I think, we fell in love with Tarifa and one of the reasons was this hotel. Ask the owner for the restaurant recommendation - everything what was recommended were just perfect. Do not miss the restaurant on the another side of... More

We had a great time in this typical Spanish cortijo. We were warmly welcomed by Irena who is a very sweet host. She gave us tips on where to eat, to shop and how to find the best beaches. The house is surrounded by a huge garden where you can relax after a long day on the beach. The breakfast... More

Cortijo El Pozuelo was a wonderful stop during our tour of Spain. Manuel and Irene were so helpful and accomadating. Our daughter loved there dogs Maya, Flaca and Juanillo. We loved the breakfast spread and talking with other travelers. I did not take any pictures, however the washroom was beautiful. A very pleasent stay! We will return.

This is a small hotel near the town of Tarifa, in the south of Spain. It's within walking distance of a wide and long beach facing the Atlantic ocean, and near the beaches of Bolonia and Punta Paloma, among others. The hotel offers charming, comfortable, and rustic accomodations, where one feels pretty much at home. The personnel are warm and... More

If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of Spanish towns, want to be car-free, and enjoy nature and the ocean, stay here. The owners, a young couple, couldn't be more gracious and helpful. This "bed and breakfast" has 7 rooms, each with either a double bed or two singles. Call first before trying to book on-line... More

Loved the place! we stayed there for two days/nights and really enjoyed our room which was really nicely made up (and also soooo carefully and almost lovingly tidied the next day) as well as the big dining room where breakfast took place, it was really beautiful. The hostess was really friendly and offered suggestions of things to do, gave us... More

Cortijo El Pozuelo is the result of several years of effort, dedication and care of a family to convert a 19th century cottage into a comfortable and charming place, that is now shared with guests and friends who spend some days off in Tarifa.
