We stayed for a week and had a great time travelling the beautiful surrounding area however despite the reception staff being extremely helpful and the maids delightful, we found the two main waiters rude and sarcastic at times. The first night we arrived late & went for dinner in the hotel, I do not like steak rare & twice it... more

my initial feeling when arriving at the hotel was dissapointment, it seemed quite close to the busy road. However my opinion changed over the five days i stayed there. it was good to be away from the more commercial side of Nerja whilst being within visiting distance. hotel rural almazara is a very good base to tour this area , just of the motorway between nerja and frigiliana ,both beautiful places ,car essential ,as footpaths are non existant . small very clean ,good staff ,food excellent .lots of little beaches to discover .would return more
