I stayed for 5 nights in mid May, and found the hotel to be a great place to chill out. The hotel is not particularly attractive from outside. but the logic of the design becomes clearer once you get inside the hotel. All rooms seem to have a reasonably sized balcony facing the sea. We had a twin bedded room... more

Stayed only for two nights, wish it could have been much longer. The hotel is situated in an ideal position on the edge of town, about 10 mins. stroll to the centre but you pass numerous bars and restaurants so it can take a lot longer. The views we had from our room were tremendous and worth paying a lot... more

Had to pull ourselves away after two nights at this lovely parador. Double room was huge with ok bedding and a great shower. AC was not working while we were there, but there was no noise from outside so opening the window worked fine. Views to the beach are amazing. Enjoy them from your balcony chairs or from the lovely... more

We stayed here after a hectic and very enjoyable three day birthday party in the hills near Granada, so what we were looking for was peace and quiet and sunshine - and that's exactly what we got. Nerja is in danger of being overwhelmed by tourism but the parador has its own quiet space. It feels like an ocean liner... more

For people who stay in Paradors regularly, this hotel is at the poor end of the Parador spectrum. The location is excellent, on a cliff top above the best beach in Nerja, with a lift down to the beach. There is a small swimming pool, which was still open in October, and a lovely grass area for sunbathing, overlooking the... more

Agree with the previous review with one exception - we thought the food very disappointing on our first night and we therefore ate out on the other nights. That said, the buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide choice and very efficient service from staff. Overall staff were efficient and courteous but not particularly friendly. We booked a superior double... more

Stayed here for 10 nights in September and could not fault the place. Staff are attentive and friendly. The grounds were very pleasant. Food in the hotel restaurant was good and if somebody was going to Nerja I would recommend them staying at the Parador. We drove from Malaga and as other reviews have pointed out the Parador is well... more

My husband and I rented a car in Barcelona and drove down the coast in Spain. Our final destination war the Parador in Nerja. It was the most fabulous place we've ever stayed. We have stayed at many four and five star places in the US, including the Carribean and Mexico. I wish Nerja was closer so we could visit... more

Paradors are usually well signposted, but if there is a prize for parador signposting, this one deserves it. Every exit of every roundabout from the outskirts of Nerja is very clearly marked. The exterior appearance of the building, is, perhaps, unprepossessing, but once through the doors there is a delightful little cloistered garden which raises the spirits and makes you... more

My wife and I stayed at the Parador in December. Although from the outside it may look like a dated place, the inside it is not. The room has a retro-70's feel to it, but done in good taste....The views from the balcony were spectacular, and the breakfast overseeing the bay was amazing. Best of all, the location is ideal... more
